I changed a new coil head and test with a single 18350 trustfire battery again and it worked, working well like it had done the first time I hold it in my hand. Then after hours it stopped working with that coil head, forever, like the other coil heads it did work with.

What a strange story!

This thing is very Chineseeeeeeeeeeeee!

Sigh I thought I have posted this before. This won't work properly with trustfire batts. I have posted this info somewhere in this thread yet people keep making the same mistake like I did. Help yourself and get aw batteries and you will be vaping in glory

I have this as my Vamo is v2 however using 18650 aw battery it will stillrattle inside the tube. If I knock it accidentally the device will turn off by itself. No issues with single or stacked 18350 aw battery though

thanks. so, i basically need to get some 18350 aw's then. nipple or no nipple?

Thank you for your post here.
I am sorry that we posted a wrong instruction here before we made enough tests. We did try a trustfire battery and find it work well. but not all trustfire batteries can work well.
We will post a notice on our site about the problem.

I need help from forum members and Newsunshine as well, I think. I bought this device for my son for Christmas. I also bought 2 1200 mAh 18350 button top Trustfire batteries to use with it. The two batteries together will not fit. When using the single battery the device will turn on, give me volts and ohms readings but when I try to vape with it at a setting over 3.0, it turns off. Every. single. time. I HAVE to get the correct battery and make sure it works before Christmas Day or it's going to really suck.

What do I need to get to make this work properly?

Yes, they're protected.

That's the issue then I bet

Please note:
The APV comes with only body (batteries are NOT included in price). You need to install li-ion batteries before using.
Both Joyetech 2200mah 18650 Li-ion battery and Unprotected 18350 Li-ion battery can fit the eGo APV.We are sorry to inform you that any protected 18350 or 18650 batteries can not fit the eGo APV.
eGo Variable Volt/Watt APV V2 (Only Body) [D-B4 APV] - $31.20 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

I know it says "Fit" but I think I also read Newsunshine say sometimes they fit but do not function properly. Check in these threads for more info on batteries, first one has several users mentioning protected batteries don't work due to not firing quickly enough

Thanks Aurora-O, I just ordered an Efest IMR 18650 and charger from Smoktek. I guess it's my fault I've got those 2 batteries and charger I'll probably never use.

I just want to make sure my son has a ready-to-go device to open up and start vaping on Christmas morning;)

If you alredy had a charger for the other batteries you can charge the Efest on the same charger.

You could list them in the classified here if you get verified, or if that's an issue then maybe ebay?

Sellers have been claiming that HC complaint with the Vamo manufacture, because other sellers were selling it cheaper. The sellers increased their prices to 39$, and now HC are selling it cheaper, with 20% discount.

Seems unfair to me.

"Sellers"?? Vendors change their prices all the time. You can get Zmaxs from $80 to $125. A sale is a sale. If they want to sell Vamos then they should drop them to $31 like HC have.
It's not unfair, unless you're a shill for another company of course.

Hi Terri,
If you have any issues you might try stretching the bottom cap spring up a bit more. I got the long spring but there was some movement of the battery in the tube. I use button top AW IMRs. It still worked ok, but I stretched the spring up and that stopped the battery movement.

We are sorry for the problem with the spring. We just got a new better stronger spring v2, which can fit all li-ion batteries and no movement any more. we will send one free new spring v2 with each apv from today. :)

You never hear about minimum price imposed by the manufacturer?
Why you say I'm shill about other company? I just look at the facts, each one make their judgment.
