I believe that I may be slightly allergic to PG. I get dryness in my throat that itches terribly where I'm coughing at night. I think that's why I sometimes cheat and fall back to cigs during the day and just vape at night or early morning. It is a real thing!
Drink LOTS of water ~ H2O ~ lots! And maybe think about switching to VG instead. I had to do that. I sure didn't want to end up coughing the way I did smoking, just doesn't seem right.

You're right. I haven't been drinking much H2O. I'll try it from now on. Thanks!

I understand Kate, I just feel like the world allergy is used too much. I dont believe every case is a result of an allergy. I mean how long have u vaped for before you started getting hoarse and all these different side effects?

And also u said it best yourself. "with constant use" if it is a drying agent than its going to dry out some peoples throats with constant use and they dont have to be allergy prone. I think people like to use the world allergy because it kind of dismisses any ill effects, even small, with PG use. I guess thats my point.

You're actually right - I probably don't have an allergic reaction, just dehydration.

Like happy said, don't inhale at first. I really can't explain it, but I know what you are talking about. I could not FIGURE OUT how to inhale vapor at first so I did not, but once you do you will do it without any cough or scratchy feeling at all.

I found on day 2 I was inhaling no problem, but just smoke it like a cigar for a bit and play around with inhaling. If you inhale from your mouth and not directly into your throat that will certtainly help (once you get the hang of that you will be able to do a little of both) then it is just a matter of not too little volume (in the troat) or too much, but I think the too little is more the problem and causes a burning tickle and resulting hacking cough. Or even to little at the end of a draw (i.e. don't inhale the entire draw at first)

Anyways, it takes a day or two to get used to inhaling vapor, you will figure it out (probably by tomorrow). Quick learning curve...

I don't think you need to switch to VG or anything, I did not and got past that stage...
