Buzz I have checked the tube and cap even wiped down, they are fine. The batteries are wiped dow and they are fine. I dont have a voltmeter here so I cant check the battery voltage. I charged both sets and they still do the same thing. These batteries work in my old Infinity.

OK put them in the unit and tap it in your hand a few times , there is a brass battery contact inside the tube on the bottom of the PCB and every once in a while the coating we use on the pcb will get on this and it seems to flow over time onto it , give that a try , last thing is to try and clean that contact .

That is an awesome tip! How does the Infinity Pro compare to the original?

Well that did the trick. Works like a charm, now to test with an atty..............Perfect. Tanks for the help!!!!

Every once in a while the PCB coating moves or ??? not sure ?? It does not happen very often but it happens , weird because we test each unit 3 times before shipping ! under load etc. ?????

LordDavon I must say that there is no comparison to the old Infinity. The new feels better in my hand. I think it is just a little bit bigger around after sizing up the bottom caps. The new feels like it is built much better. The markings on the new are very nice and they stand out on my black edition. The only thing that i dislike which is a petty thing, is the the wheel is 180 degrees away from the button. So this means that i cant adjust voltage with my thumb that i use to activate the switch. I also have a buzz Pro and just the few mins i have been using my IPro i like it better. If you are on the fence then go ahead and buy one you will not be disappointed.

Thank you for the comparison JonEreB. My Infinity Pro arrived this afternoon. I've been loving it since.

That is a great point you make about the wheel. I hold it so that my index finger is on the button and my thumb is on the wheel. I didn't even consider that people use their thumbs. I think many do.
