Unless innokin's facebook got hacked its for real.
I know they mentioned a couple different versions to be introduced. I'm kinda glad they stuck with alot of the things i like on this one, and added a slightly bigger battery, more watts, a flush 510 and spring loaded center pin. Ive gotten very used to the center button now and it works well for me in my left or right hand. I was kinda afraid they'd change all the models to much.
Now lets see the price ....
oops , I see the battery is the same, I was hoping for at least an extra 200 MaH, :(

Well it's not what many of us were hoping for (the Evolv powered version), and its arguably not very competitive with other $50 mods out there. However, its probably good enough for many many vapors, and they seem to have distribution all figured out - I see Innokin products in EVERY vape or smoke shop I have ever been in. I think they will sell a ton of them.

Innokin products like the MVP2.0 and itaste vv v3 already had a smoother/higher freq. Pwm vape then many regulated mods. I would like to see this one on a scope, that 32 bit arm chip could put this one up around provari's pwm freq.
Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.

People that have never had one just don't get that part. They only see price and watts. I could see paying up to 50 for this as a replacement for my MVPs. Less that 40 would be even better. I still don't need over 11w.

The only problem I have with the majority of the new variable wattage devices coming out, including those from Innokin, is that the lowest wattage setting is either 6 or 7 watts. Well, I prefer my vape around 5 watts. I know that I am in the minority, but this really irks me. Why is it so hard to set a lower baseline, and have people adjust up as needed. That is one of the things that really attracted me to the eLeaf iStick, which starts at 2.0 watts. Granted, you can't actually set it that low due to the lowest voltage being 3.0, but at least it's there. Unfortunately, the iStick is set to Vavg, so the numbers go out the window, but as soon as eLeaf switches the iStick to Vrms, they will have the low wattage market all to themselves. Innokin, Evolv, Beyang, and all the other companies are just shooting themselves in the foot by doing this.

Not impressed and I bet that goofing looking ego adapter still blocks the air holes on my T2's :( At least I can add my own without height penalty. Don't know much about this new chip ??? Thought they were going to make some better changes than this. I'll guarantee the evolve chip version is going to be a big jump in price from the V2. Innokin better start keeping up if they are going to stay on top.

When you say 'not very competitive', you're assuming apples to apples. Go read 200+ pages on the istick thread and see how many people are not happy with it. Accuracy issues, 510 connector issues - just to mention two. The MVP2.0 while not doing 20 watts is/was/still is far and away a better device. The announcement was for the MVP 20W which is an *upgrade* to the MVP 2.0 - it is not the MVP 3.0~!

As an upgrade to an already great device, fixing the number 1 issue (the 510 connector), and also raising it to 20 clean watts, with even greater accuracy - sounds like a win to me, and I will buy one and throw away the istick I can't use (too hot for me at the minimum settings), as my go-to backup to my P3. While waiting for the MVP 3.0 to come out.

My iStick only goes down to 3.0 volts or 4.7 watts. I love the size. I like it telling you how long of a puff you took. I get ghost hits, and sometimes double ghost hits frequently. It needs a better adapter. Otherwise I love it. It holds all of my tanks very well, and with good airflow. The price is reasonable. The MVP2 does not allow much air to my Aspire K1. Otherwise I love my MVP2. I wish it were smaller, and had a bit more wattage. Otherwise it is perfect. I use both of these devices everyday.

Sorry I think you misunderstood my post. I am very familiar with the iStick and its shortcomings. Glad you like your MVP, like I said, I think the 20W version will be very popular too. I am an Evolv fan, so I will wait with interest to see if Innokin do produce the rumored MVP Evolv. Meantime the IPVmini is the low-cost device I have chosen for my current needs.

Tis a fair statement. The joy of available choices for all the different users is great! My only point is *if* the MVP 20W is in the same price range of the istick, the answer for many will be simple. And, that the MVP 3.0 is still coming, while slow, everything promised has come so far.

Yeah I vape at lower wattage too. Anything above 8 watts just burns the ejuice. I'm still fairly new to vaping and don't understand how people vape at such high power without completely burning their juice. Can anyone explain this to me? Thanks

Different tanks, coils, builds, airflow and juices take different wattages.

I tend to vape on the low side. I have a 0.12Ω (ni200) in a KFL+ on my DNA 40 and it's great at 16w. I have 1.5Ω kanthal builds on KFL's and they're great at 12-14w. I have 1 dripper to test juices that is built as a dual coil @ 1.3Ω and it works great at 18w. I'm sure with more airflow, all these builds could go higher but I'm happy with the quality where I'm at.

K thanks. I figured that's what it was. I guess cause if the little pro tank minis I use can only handle so much power cause the coils are such a small gauge. Is that why I can't vape above 8 watts. Doesn't really matter what juice I've used, it always burns. My coils are 2.5 ohm and I usually vape at 3.8v.
