So my new 134 mini cam in I have a new trustfire 18350 for it when the batt is fully charges I am only able to get about 20 minutes of vaping with it. I have it at 11 watts with an iclear 30s tank at 2.1 ohms. I like the mod but this is my first step up to a replaceable batt mod. I started with an ego twist vv and then an i taste MVP. Loved them both but thought I would try this I have only been vaping for about 5 weeks so just curious if this is what to expect of if I am doing something wrong.

Good to know I got this one from my local b&m seems like a pretty good guy. Any recommendations for a good batt and place to order. I would rather spend a few extra bucks and support the right place and get good quality.

Eta: should I stop using the mod till I get a better batt?

Authentic AW Batteries at RTD Vapor is where I get mine. Known genuine and a forum sponsor I believe. I bought the AW IMR's and a nitecore charger. I don't know enough about the batteries you have to say whether they are safe or not. Considers the possible downsides I'd lay it down until you get some new batts.

Ok so I drove down to high desert vapes and got a few aw batts. Still disappointed with the battary life the 18490 dies after half a day. To compare I can run my ego twist vv all day. Does any one know if their is a longer tube for the 134 that will fit the 18650 batt, maybe an after market adapter? I really like this mod better then the MVP and want to keep it as my edc but I am hoping to atleast get a work days use out of it.

On a side note I had a chance to look at the provari while at high desert and I am thinking that just might be the way to go. Problem is I have been vaping for 6 weeks and spent over a grand so far so I am trying to limit new purchases. However it did get both my daughters vaping and off the analogs. One stuck the other, not so much. So a grand is worth it.

Simple solution is to carry more batteries with you.

I have an old ego case which is now my dedicated battery case if I know I am going to be out longer than a single battery will last me

I used to keep my old Ego twist in there too as an emergency backup, but decided the real estate was put to better use when dedicated to an extra 18650.

Running your iTaste at 11W draws a lot more power than any ego battery. You're using a lot more power, thats why the battery is dying you.

if you want a great VW MOD for much less money than the Provari (and a more flexible PV) get the Sigelei 20W. You can get one for $84 at Fast Tech, about $100 on eBay, and about $120 from a stateside vape shop on the web. It's variable wattage from 6-20W and you can build coils down to .65Ω if you choose. It ialso uses an 18650 battery. Get the Sony 30A with 2600mah and you should get a very smooth, consistent, and robust vape all day. Watch PBusardo's review. He'll confirm that it's a great vape on par with the DNA20 MODs, and at a great price.

It will also blow your iTaste 134 mini out of the water in terms of vape quality. It sends a clean, consistent DC signal to the atomizer rather than the PWM used on the iTaste. I retired my iTaste 134 mini about a day after I got my Sigelei 20W. It's worth every penny. Look at the Sigelei 20W threads on the board and you will see nothing but happy campers.

Ditto the Seven-22. It's a closely related cousin to the Sigelei 20W (they use virtually identical chips), but comes in a behemoth 26650 battery tube.
