Yep, more of the same BS, and they refuse to put it in the proper perspective.
  • Yes, some flavoring ingredients are questionable. So avoid them if you wish.
  • Metals: Meh. tobacco smoke has many more.
  • Ultra-fine particles: Are we gonna pretend that tobacco smoke isn't chok full of 'em?
  • VOCs: They admit vape contains less VOCs than smoke.
  • Formaldehyde: The only way vape contains more than smoke is if it tastes burnt and nasty.
  • Acrolein: Ditto.
  • TSNAs: Where are the numbers showing these are higher in vape than smoke?
Bottom line: Vaping is much less hazardous than smoking. Is it as good as quitting both? No, it probably isn't. But I think the hazards of vaping are low enough that there are other lifestyle changes that would likely be more positive for most people than quitting vaping.
