Just received my egrip kit. Vapes like a champ straight out of the box. Haven't cranked it up to 20 watts yet. My comfort zone is around 10.5 or so. That being said, holy flarking schnitt my liquids taste great in this thing! It's only the first day of ownership, so I'll report back if I notice any of the problems that have been mentioned before. No leaking or wobbly loose parts though. Seems solid. Heavier than my friend's MVP 3. Oh, the wood grain finish is sexy. I hope this thing lasts because I'm a heavy vaper. We'll see.

Yes, bought the entire kit. I'm away from home so waiting for my tools and such. This will be my plunge into coil building and RBAs. Did notice a tiny amount of seapage from the fill port. Gonna try to devise a plug as opposed to the little seal that is in the fill chamber. Even with that minor annoyance, I can see a second unit in my immediate future. Love how compact it is.

Plenty of good folks here to help with rba builds.

I thought my fill door was seaping too...turns out it was spillage from filling that got trapped under the door hinge and seeped out later.

I try to remember to take a tissue and dry/wipe the "spillage" before closing the door. Most of the time it's from the breather hole where the air escapes when filling.
Anymore I try to squeeze the bottle and let some air out before sticking the tip in the fill hole, then release the bottle to suck air back which usually clears the air hole which helps to prevent any "leakage".

Took your advice long ago on that trick SW...works great! Thanks for that.

Someone help me out real quick, where am I gonna position the multimeter leads on the base to get my ohm readings?

Never tried from the outside of the egrip Pandahat, but I don't think the pos and neg are both available there. With the cs or rba base removed you can put one lead below the white insulator ring on the side of the base and one above it. You should find both pos and neg terminals there and be able to measure res.

Also, with digital multimeters don't forget to subtract your test lead res from your reading to get actual res of the coil.

Good luck

Diamond coil update! I have successfully gotten the diamond coil installed and firing at 1.8ohms. I have pics but haven't put them online in order to post here) the trick is to have it not touch the sleeve or else it will cause a short. Pics coming soon

Ism't that true of all rebuildables?
