Get both, they are cheap enough. If you only want one though, the Mini A6 is 14mm diameter and harder to build coils on, with extremely good flavor production at lower wattages with a single coil (IMO). I have never tried a Derringer, it is 22mm diameter, looks easier to build coils on (more space) and I am guessing that you would want a coil or duals to be in the 1 ohm and lower range for good flavor. Get both if you can...to cover both ends of the spectrum.

Love this thing. 3 months later and it still rocks a great vape. Finally figured out to remove the wicking from the pre-made coils and dry burn them to get them to read correctly ohm wise. Anybody have an idea on the life expectancy of the Egrip? Ive noticed to won't hold a charge as long as it initially did. Would the battery lhave a longer life if i used a .5 amp charger instead of the 1 amp charger it came with?

Yeah, I've read that LI batts last longer if charged at lower amps. Don't know if that's true. As far as longivity it's my understanding that LI's will still charge up to 70% capacity even after 300 charges and depletions. I hope that's true. I would like to get a year out of my egrip. By then something better will probably be available.

I have 3 eGrips (one is almost 4 months old and the other two are 3 months old). I have had exactly zero problems with any of them and all of them keep rocking. The only thing I have noticed is that the chrome plating of the fire button (the actual button; not the power wheel surrounding it) is fading on all of them and is now revealing what I believe to be the naked brass.

Seems even if I make sure to not fill it fully a couple drops still escape out the RBA base. Other than that I do experience slight leakage from the RBA. More like condensation than true leaking.

Doubt it's condensation dawg. In order for that to occur warm-hot vapor must come into contact with a cool surface. That's going to occur from the atty upwards to the drip tip typically. Could be a missing seal, slightly leaky seal or atty flooding. Make sure all four juice holes are blocked by your wicking.

Oh yea I know. Was more using it as a descriptive term since it's not really "leaking". I can set my eGrip down on my desk and no juice is left when I move it but if I were to touch the base especially by the airhole I'll get liquid on my finger.

Great now I too have to worry about my new eGrip's reliability. I went to toke on it and it would almost instantly shut Off and start flashing like I read some ppl experienced. I noticed it was empty so thought ok and filled it...same thing. Powered on/off...nada. Reseated the RBA base and still would only fire for a sec. Put back in the original base and now it wouldn't fire at all. Put back in the RBA and messed with it for a few more minutes and thankfully it started working again but now I gotta worry about it dying on me again and for good.

Sounds like a bad connection somewhere. We are not working with a110 volts here. It does not take much of a loose conection positve or negative to cause trouble. Sometimes everthing looks good but looks can be disceiving. Retighten connections , wipe off threads, if your using the rba make the negitve lead is not close to the positive block, even a little juice or cotton can cause a short.

Double check your RBA base. I had one that was doing this, and on close inspection there was a loose metal ring floating at the bottom of the RBA (left over at the factory I assume).

Yea I checked the ring as I remembered your post and all was good. Like I mentioned tho I put in the stock base and it didn't fire at all. Well it's working now...for now.

I also had one the other day that misbehaved after I recoiled it. I kept having to go in and retighten the screws. They finally held, and it's fine now. Those screws are insanely small!

If you get any water in it rinsing it out it can also be weird for a day or two.

Hope yours behaves now!
