Yea that charge port issue is a known problem. Thankfully vendors who replace defects are great. Vicki (Cignot) said they've done a lot of returns or exchanges.

As much as I want to meet Vicki in person, I certainly hope I don't have that issue. I do have a newer one and everything has been pretty great so far.

got my shipping notice within 2 hours of ordering cignot has won my business ;)
I really don't either.. One of my reasons for purchasing the eGrip was to take a break from rebuilding, and have a totally "grab-n-go" device. That said, I just couldn't help but to order one anyway.. :p

EDIT: Damn, that was fast.. I received a shipping notice / tracking # from Cignot already... :)

FYI, on most POS systems, when you generate a tracking number (Package Label) it provides the shipment notification to customer. That doesn't nessasarily mean the product has been handed off to delivery company (USPS, UPS etc).

Not saying Cignot hasn't handed over your product, and we all know they are fast and on top of their game. Possibly one of the most reputable, if not the best vender you can possibly find.

They hit the PO 5pm daily.

I gotta say, joyetech is really out to prove that high-functioning ecigs can be small, powerful, easy to use, and adaptable.

Yeah, I'm glad to see them being competitive and innovative for a change. They were always proprietary and somewhat elitist. I remember vendors not being able to cut prices on their products. That turned me off from their products for the first couple of years. Now, surprisingly, everything I use is Joyetech!

Still blinking when fireing it :( tried while while harger was attached too. Aspire coil with egrip pin in it fires, but burns at first hit

I had a similar problem: blinking firebutton. Then I checked the coil and base and found the base to be soaking with liquid. Cleaned and dried it and had no issues since.

I have had this issue 2 or 3 times, but not in the last few days at all. To fix, I just unscrewed the base and screwed it back in. This leads me to believe it more of a protection issue with the electronics. As if it thinks there is no atomizer or the ohm rating is to low to fire.

You can remove the base and try to fire, same blinking "warning" light. Maybe its not making a good connection to the base?
