I have proposed a piezo transducer to feed the heater coil. I don't think it's ever been made.

Sorry, but that was patented in da '50s by an American innovator... Google may not be your friend!

I really am not up on the latest models. But 18 months before you joined the forums I had ideas for a lot of what we use now. So put that in your pipe and vape it ~ lol ;)
Besides your obvious understatements, your lack of humility and knowledge of recent history is absolutely overwhelming! Thank you for playing...

I said piezo to feed heater coil, not in place of (c.f. the original Ruyan patent).

The tongue incheek comments were aimed at Dormouse not you.

I like both you two's posts.

Of course it sounds trumpet blowing - but you were calling me an idiot ;) Yet, there;s plenty I don't know; nobody's an expert in all things. That's why i asked - i dont hnk asking is the action of a 'know it all' as you suggest, is it.

Hey, forget it. I am not hurt at all. Friends ok. vaping is bigger than any of us.

Check your 'likes' - you'll see me listed. Dormouse too.

+++++

I think I added quite a bit to the world of vaping. I'm neither under or over stating it. I dont care for the prestige. I just care for the success of vaping. And when i'm joking i really am; you just dont know me so well so get the wrong idea. I'm sure i was hated for the VG-acrolein thing but i say how i see it (that's about t change btw). I'm not here to be best buddies but in all honesty to me you are; I think you write great posts but just like me sometimes off a bit.

I only mentioned that I maybe made the first tank after you, instead of answering my question, suggested that I should already know the answer - in all honesty, wasn't that rude? Wasn't that the start of this ding-dong?

++++

ps: in some thread recently i asked Dormouse what was the difference between a 808-1 and an 808-2. I really am not up on such things, and i'm no way above asking and looking foolish. I know some things, i don't know others. Like everyone.

2 posts from earlier this evening :

I always reasearch what I write, am not afraid to change my mind, and if i wasn't somewhat proud of what i was doing I wouldn't dother to do it.

You both give much help to newbies and that's why i have 'liked' your posts. I mostly do the backgrund researchy stuff; and know little about the latest cartomisers etc.

It may be the SuperTanker that VapersHub.net has. It's a Joye product, similar in looks to an e-power but shorter (18500 batteries) and it has an on/off switch at the bottom unlike the E-Powers. The kit comes with some large looking clear tank cartos as well. This is a new supplier and is located in Singapore. This kit doesn't seem to be available in the US (not yet at least) Shipping is a bit high to the US but I believe he is working something out for shipping within the US soon.
He has a bingo game going on the suppliers section and the prize is one of those kits. I hope I win!!!!! I would totally sell all my e-powers for something with an on/off switch.

EDIT: Sorry it is not a Joye product, talked to supplier and it was an oversight on the webpage - he has corrected. Still a very cool kit!~

I don't think it would be this one. It's already out.
Variable voltage Ego battery

I keep seeing this device being called a VV but isn't it really a MV (Multi-Volt) with only 3 different voltage settings? Unlike a VV which can adjust at .1 intervals through the entire range.

I had a chance to see the Supertanker Saturday at the WCVC meet. It's very cool as a concept. I picked up one of the tank cartos for testing.

The tank cartos may be less than wonderful.. though I haven't burned through one tank yet so I'm still working with it.

My guess is it will be some new incompatible system for vaping on Ego, with new incompatible tube sizes nothing else fits, to be followed by a 510 version indistinguishable from other 510's but with a charger that kills normal 510 batteries by just looking at them.

OMG, that is so true! :lol: :lol: :lol:

I would assume a variable voltage unit would be the next big thing for them but havent a clue if thats correct, with the financial savings over traditional cigarettes and the other benefits I would suggest rewarding yourself with both units! At least thats my excuse for my collection!

I wonder if it would be similar to the ego-booster from Happy Vapor :blink:

True - What Ego is currently missing that clones have are the following:

- 3-stage (so-called variable) voltage
- real 3.7v voltage like a mod
- an actual mod with removable battery

And in their slim 510 line, there is a much nicer roomier PCC for the short 510 batteries than the one they sell.

I just call those Multi-Volt I think some vendors that are selling those are relying on newer vapers to not know the difference and purchase them, thinking their getting a VV. A little unscrupulous if you ask me.

I heard that they are releasing a line of e-liquid

Where did ya 'hear' that? Doesn't sound very innovative... unless it's a powder and ya just add water.

What's a UFS?

It's a tank system made by Imeo at Golden Greek that you put your atty in and fill with liquid, then you can control the draw and liquid feeding with 2 different rings. Had one but I ended up selling it and now you can never catch them in stock. I think the only place we can get them in the US is at Clouds of Vapor and funstore(or something like that).
