Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
I like the basic single coils , idiot proof to rebuild and i don't use as much juice or battery drain . The reason Kanger is coming out with different dual coils is they know very well that most will not likely want to deal with rebuilding dual coils and thats more $$ in the bank for them.

The single coil Kangers if you repeatedly rebuild them don't make Kangertech any $$ after someone purchases an initial amount and rebuilds.

I don't know HOW people get 2 WEEKS out of their coils! I'm lucky if I get 2 days out of my stock Kangers! I rebuild them with a single 28g 1.5 microcoil. 12 wraps on a 5/64 drillbit or 20g syringe. Most people use cotton but I've been messing around with the xc-116. I get more flavor, vapor out of the single then the Kanger duals and it sips my juice and batt compared to the duals! Also I DO get weeks out of them and only have to change the cotton every couple of days, but the xc-116 should last a LONG time if I can find a good way to wick it!

I've been curious about the new Aero since I love the look and functionality of the "old" Aero's but idk, I don't think they're as nice looking as the old ones. I feel like their are too many better tanks in that price range, but if I happen to catch a good deal on one I prob will pick one up to experiment with. Vape on friends!

Thanks of course we'd just got some yesterday at the vape store and I had to look at them, I've not burned a coil out yet on all but one of mine, one I've had for over a month now that has my "morning" coffee flavor Queenside in it, (orange and coffee does it for me) and I huff on that for a good four to five hours a day and still going strong (Kanger Pro Tank 2).

I was unaware of any upgrade, my deal is get it..it works and I don't have to fiddle with 'em for preferably a good long while.

Tyler Rose...are you from the Tyler area too?

Originally yes, but have lived in Vegas for a long time now. I'll always be a Tyler Rose though :-}

The new coils may arguably be better than the old. What seems apparent, is that Kanger is still having the same old QC problems. The new coils don't seem any more consistent than the old. I'll continue rebuilding my Kangers with single cotton/microcoils; a MUCH better vape than ANY stock Kangers I've tried...
