I keep putting off ordering these because I'm hoping Vapeonly releases a Mega that's smaller than 3.5ml any day now. Mega just came out though.
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...apeonly-bcc-3-5ml-bottom-coil-t3-style-3.html
People aren't saying great things about Mega, but I hate hard plastic kanger tips and can replace the vapeonly with a rubber tip. I'm not getting great performace from my MT3 though- aparently there's no way to not eventually loose the flavor wicks, they're too small, little strands that unwrap and come loose and cause flooding when lost. They're like trying to keep 5 hairs in place on the coil and don't get clammped in. I replaced them with a full sized wick, it worked great for a while and not even dry hits, but it eventually came undone. Hopefully cotton (or whatever's best after reading the 9999 page wick thread) doesn't unwind like that. Or I might remove them all together and grind some parts down so there's no flood gap. Or,, to keep the purpose of the flavor wick which is more juice to the coils, wrap the ends of the flavor wick in coil outside of the main coil so it doesn't short it out and keeps the flavor coil as one piece.

I vaped ECBlends' bananna that warned about using it with certain plastic tanks. My tank is fine I guess, but it must have been the bananna juice that caused the rubebr stopper ring that seals the two MT3 air shafts when they meet from doubling in size and getting almost liquidy like it were soaked in paint thinner or something. ECBlends bananna is the only one that warns about using with certain plastics out of what else I got was: watermellon, black rasberry, hazlent, blueberry cheesecake, and spearmint (way to strong to vape, only usefull as a couple drops to add menthol). All from the %100 VG, organic, natural, vegan, line. Really good flavor and great price especiall for organics and coupon code is easily Googled, I didn't even steep them, added vegan sweetener and extra flavor for like 50 cents per 30mls. Even when steeped Virgin Vapor's bananna coconut tastes like an unripe bananna stem compared to these. Sorry if long and ECB plug.

I've only had mine for two days, but I've gone through at least 6 refills. All juices are "reduced PG" from juicy vapors. Excellent flavor and vapor production. I rinse the head between each refill but haven't disassembled the coil unit yet.

I love the T3, but one fill of Boba's Bounty usually kills a coil. Waiting on some replacement coil units for the Evod before I try Boba's in it.

I just got a five pack of replacement coils from iVape (though I don’t need one yet). Kanger seems to be more conscious of differentiating the Evods from potential knock-offs after the T3 debacles. The Evod tank has EVOD BCC printed on it, and the replacement coils come in a white box with the coils individually sealed in a blister pack.

I’m on day five with my Evod and it’s been working perfectly except for a few slightly burnt tasting hits. A couple of these were because I was out of juice. The biggest thing I don’t like real well about the Evod is that it’s harder to see the juice level, especially when it’s getting low.

My first (and only, so far) Evod head went nuclear today. It was still working, just burnin' mah joose. No taste, just BURN, but still LOTS of vapor! Took the head apart out of curiosity, expecting to find a gunked up coil. Nope. Coil was still in good shape, no buildup. I shoulda took a photo of what it looks like. One end of the wire that wraps around the wick was loose, not attached to anything. I'm a total dummy when it comes to electrics so I don't know if that was normal or not.

I like that you can see the Ohm rating on the head. I was a little surprised that it was 1.8Ohm. I wasn't paying much attention to what it was supposed to be when I ordered mine. Got some replacements on the way.

If anyone was curious. I have a VAMO and tried one of the EVODs on it without an adapter and it fits but it does cut off at least 60% of the airflow. It still works but the draw is pretty tight. Just letting people know that it's still a possibility of not working as preferred if your drip well isn't wide enough. Other than that these work great once i removed one of the top wicks like the old T3s. I'm using 50/50 juices.

I have been using my EVOD for about a week solid, all day every day. Still on the stock coil, I have filled 30+ times, rinsed the head twice including washing out the unit before the first use, and dry-burned once. Using a 67/33 liquid and have only gotten 3 dry hits at max. And not a nasty dry hit like the stardusts- just a little "off" tasting.
I love these units and have since ordered a few more to have on hand, along with replacement heads. I feel they are constructed very well for the price (just over $6), and who doesn't love a replacement coil that costs around $1.50 (besides the RBA crowd obviously).....
FWIW, I highly recommend the EVOD!

I'm still diggin' mine too. I did, however, get a box of crappy heads. They were listed as 1.5Ohm but whatever they really are (I don't have a multimeter, hope to rectify that soon when I get my eVic) they do nothing but scorch my juice, at anything above 3.2V. That's kind of a bummer.

I have another box (different vendor, but the boxes look the same and I don't hold the other vendor responsible for the "bad" heads) that is listed as 2.5Ohm and while I DO have to crank the volts up to around 4.5V, they are working great and lasting a LONG time. I've been using one for about a week now, refilling about 5 times a day. I rinse the head in hot tap water between each fill.

am i the only person having problems with leaking? sometimes the hit is really airy and gurgly then it spits a little juice in my mouth... im not sure what the deal is, i just got it in the mail yesterday. also sometimes it wont fire on my kgo vv.... anyone had any similar problems??

The evod leaks if you tighten it too tightly onto the battery, if you turn it about an 1/8th of a turn past snug it mostly wont leak. The problem is that the 510 connection is too long and relying on the ego threads to hold the unit on, its easy to over tighten and push the head up into the unit and break the seal of the o-ring. I tested a method of fixing this on my "old" head by sanding the 510 connection on the coil down till the unit could be tightened fully without putting too much pressure on the connection as to raise it. This tightened up the draw, so I had to sand some more to recreate the air gap on the 510 end. ~15 minutes of work, but it doesnt leak now unless I chain vape to where the whole unit is hot thus thinning the juice out too much. I think even this could be avoided if I had all the flavor wicks in (I don't). As with any mod, your mileage may vary...

I'm really sad that with the minor differentiations in ego batteries kanger STILL insists on using the #%@# cone threads instead of the 510 threads.

Especially since it looks to be the same coil head design on the new pro tank =(

The worst/best part is ...the Evod is a great vape..if it had a normal t3 style coil without the knurling/size difference i'd trash all my vivi novas for it. But the leaking is annoying and leaving the device "loose" to get it to not leak is meh.

OMG thank you!!! that was the only thing i could think was wrong. and yes the saddest part is that its a great vape when it works properly. i do kinda want to mess with is and see if it works but am tired of the 510 connection on my kgo filling with juice. (that cant be a good thing) i have a rebuildable t3 on the way so im hoping that will work better for me.

thanks again for the post i think you hit the nail on the head.

This has several advantages for an ego battery user, steel version looks really nice on a steel 650 maH battery,1.8ohm head is
good, and it vapes very nicely. HOWEVER the tip on mine cracked massively the first day I used it. I've glued it back together, but I'm
still getting leaks when refilling, but so far luckily not in use. I think I chose a bad juice to try, Rawr Hawaian Sunset as I've read
bananna can affect tank plastics. Hope its just this juice as I'd like to use more of these.
