Ok...so I just got my kayfun clone from angel cigs. Built a coil on it and it was measuring .1 ohm (10 wrap micro with 28 ga wire..should be around 1.6ohm). No part of the coil was touching where it shouldn't

So I took the coil out and measured resistance with my ohm meter between the two capture scews.... .1 ohm. So I also measured between the center pin and the body. Again. .1 ohm.

So I'm thinking the clone has an internal short somewhere. Am I thinking right?

Thanks classwife :)

And update...took the atty completly apart...to include the pin inside the base and block with the positive screw. Reset all insulators, and now its rockin at 1.1 ohms.

So just in case someone else has this same issue with a clone...solution posted :) thank god its Friday :)

Tried that first necrotic...I think it was the insulator under the positive block that wasnt seated right. The block was overlapping the insulator by at least halfway.

Eithet way solution if you show a short in your kayfun with no coil attached is to loosen the 510 screw, loosen the airflow screw if you have a 3.1, and if that dont work take it all apart and reseat all insulators to make sure they are in right.
