New Kit Arrived

I bought an Ego kit for about $60. It came in today and I tried it out...seams very well built, nice materials. I ordered it with one 10ml of Vitamin E and two vials of "Cigar" flavor...


I put in the "Cigar" flavor and tried it and it was terribly bland. No flavor at all...just a very very slight "peanut" after taste. I was smoking "Logic" Tabacco flavor and they tasted very good although they were too expensive and lasted about 1/4 the time "implied".

Anyway, I am happy I got the kit, I will probably be looking for a good pipe, tabacco or cigar flavor soon.



Unless they mis-packed the one I bought, its a horrible attempt at "cigar" flavor.

I'd suggest going to a vendor that specializes in juice. If you like tobacco flavors, Backwoods Brew is very good.

Congrats on no cigs!! I haven't tried them, but I've heard good things about the pipe sauce from E pipe mods. You can use it in regular cartos from what I understand. I've only tried one tobacco flavored juice, and don't like it straight, but it's nice to mix just a little bit with caramel apple. I really thought when I started that I would want something as close to a cig as possible, and I quickly learned that I really don't want that flavor at all. Good luck and have fun trying various things. Hope you hit on your perfect juice/delivery system quickly. It's different for each person.

I will hazard a guess that you got an eGo with a "tank system", like an eGo-T or an eGo-C.

The eGo "tank systems" are pretty famous for muting flavors. And leaking.

Get some cartomizers and/or a CE4 eGo Vision Clearomizer or two.

That way, you'll have something to vape while you wait for an answer to your questions about how to stop the leaks, and you'll be able taste your juice too.

Don't be afraid to try new flavors. You may surprise yourself. I did!! If something sounds like a flavor you would enjoy, get a small sample and try it. It's great to have a variety of different flavors that you enjoy rather than "one flavor forever".
Flavors were not available when I was smoking so I din't think I would like them, only tobacco. It seems to be almost the opposite!!

My first bottles of liquid were "desert ship", "watermelon" and "menthol", all from Dekang. I thought I needed mostly tobacco flavor, used to smoke Camels. These two other flavors were bought "just if maybe". I ended up enjoying watermelon and still have not finished the camel blend. Bought several fruity flavors since then, like pineapple, cherry, blackcurrant, pomegranate. I love pomegranate and vape tobacco flavors very occasionally.

For the kit I would recommend ego W carts. They need some attention, but give good vape and taste.

The hardest thing I've found is a liquid that makes me happy. I would recommend ordering mixed sample packs from different vendors until you find what you like. I've found it hard to go by flavor recommendations, because what I like you may hate. A friend of mine loves a Red Bull flavored juice, but hates the drink. Good luck on your search.

try all sorts of flavors. I like menthol but not all menthols are the same. Each vender has thier own flavor and you have to just try different 10ml. bottles or 3ml. sample bottles till you find something you like then order large. You will be surprised at what tastes you might like.

Also, if you find a juice that you don't care much for, let it sit in a cool dark place for maybe a week, then try it again. Some juices really benefit from what they call steeping. And after a week you might like it better. I have one tobacco type juice that I don't like to vape straight, but I've found that I really like adding just a bit of it to some of my fruity juices, to give them a little extra kick in the throat hit department.
