New Krominator

I got myself a new Krominator 1100 from phatclouds.ca after getting a battery DOA and Paul delivering me a new one today (wicked customer service!) I am really enjoying this new Pv.

I got three MB tanks to go with it, the chrome to match the battery, black, and red. I had the tanks filled since lastnight and right away put on a tank of Docpepper from Vapor4life, and started to vape, and WOW great vapour, throat hit is nice out of it, and the taste is a bit lacking, but was told by Paul last night, that the tanks need a bit of a break in, so I can't wait for that to happen!

Such a huge difference from my 808 with the crappy dying cartomizers, as for battery life, I still will have to test it out, but I am sure it will last a lot longer then the 808s and the MB tanks are massive at 3.2ml!

So all in all, great supplier, awesome product, great looking product, highly recommended in my books.

From what I can tell (with Pipeous's video from the e-gar) they are giant ce2's. I have been using one of them (its without the metal casing that phatclouds has) for over a month and they really do perform great after a break-in.

I've always loved the CE2's so this was a natural step for me. They work well except I do find that once the juice gets about 1/2 to 3/4 empty it does need to be tipped up (quick upside down) to avoid a dry hit.

Yes and no, there is no solder joints at all in these (its press welded I think is what its called) so there is almost no play with the wires leading to the coil or the coil itself. So if I wanted to I'm sure I could but I would have to solder the joints and all. But not worth it if the coil pops.
The tube is easy to replace (where I get them from they sell 2 replacement tubes for $1.29). Unfortunately its a bit harder to syringe mod it as the diameter is just a little smaller than a 5ml syringe.

after a few days they settle in. I find they work fine at any level. mine is sitting at half right now (just picked it up for a vape.... mmm hillington is so tasty). funny I mentioned my e cig at band rehearsals and one of the guys said he saw a youtube review on something called an e gar. ya dude that was me, it's in the van, wanna see it?

I don't puff non stop on mine usually, though I did when I left my reo at katz place and went to work all night. I've vaped about 8ml through mine so far. the new design kicks the original's ..... so easy to top it off. takes seconds and just using the bottle. no syringe needed. glad you like it. those batteries take forever to hit cutoff. we were comparing to ego batteries and can hold the button for much longer

Thanks Drac I do love my new set up now, and Pipeous, your like the reason why i bought this, I saw your review on the e-gar which is the same as the krominator but without the wrapping/bands, and i loved it.

Also thanks for the heads up zer0, i knew in time they will work at peak when broken in

I have had my Krominator for over a month now and had no problems with it. Tanks hold a lot of juice and I have had no problems with leaking. Also got an egar a few weeks ago looks cool !! Im sure you will enjoy it as much as i have

Not as of yet. They are very similar (in design) to the Sapphire system which still needs some improvement. Because of my 50/50 track record with the sapphire's I'm holding off for a bit.

I still use cartos for some stuff with the reo. got a boge lr on the mini now. if you have ego batteries though these mb tanks are good for them, even if to just put something in you like once in a while. being a medium resistance it won't work the ego batteries as hard as lr does, yet still vape well.

So I got 2 and a half days of use on my battery, I vaped about 1tank, half in one half in a different one.

Well Docpepper still doesnt have much taste, i am guessing it is the juice itself, just a bit of spice taste. Also been vaping razwow from vapor4life, has a nice hint of flavor not over powering tastes like fresh raspberries, the TH is really really low so its good for some people who do not like huge TH
