Al, I completely missed seeing this question till now. To me, the heat/th created by both the cisco 1.5Ω and the maelstrom 1.5Ω were pretty even. Biggest difference was the airflow. To me, the cisco's are a tad bit "tighter draw", which may be a plus or a negative depending on your tastes. Mine are going on day 18 of daily use. Still hitting great. I've been vaping 70vg30pg bwb Malty Toffee with one of them... Huge clouds of vapor!
Hey Mvgratz,
I just found this thread again and really appreciate your answer. Now, if I can just find some info on this new Maelstrom atty in the 306 version. I've been on the web-site and it doesn't appear to be updated since vapefest. I'd really like to try these in both the 510 and 306 but I'm not going to place two different orders. Do you or anyone else have any info on what's going on with the atomizers. Thanks Again, Al

Thanks AcesFull,
I just ordered some Cisco's but I still want to try these new Maelstrom's. I have to admit, I like the Cisco's better than anything I've tried. It is good to know though that at least one person is trying to give people a choice when it comes to high quality atomizers. It seems you either have to buy Joye or Cisco. There are many folks out there coming out with all kinds of devices to vape but very few are putting any emphasise on the most important part of any e-cig (or modified version of) which is the atomizer, imho. I'd like to thank you for this venture. I will be ordering some as soon as possible.
Al
I have to edit this post because of my stupidity. There is another atomizer that I use and it's the IKV 801. I like that one on my "ancient" Woodvil with the native 801 connection. I switch it off and on with a Cisco 801. Both are very well made atomizers and both have lasted me a long time.
I'm still waiting for that Maelstrom 306 to come back in stock!
