I need help. I have a lux 900 mah rig and can't find any pleasure in direct drip. I use the 510 atty low res. and can't seem to get zip. #2. is the 306 compat. with 510 thread? Seems like I need a bigger bridge for dd. Thanks

O.K. Will they be making any of these in "Standard" or better yet "High Voltage" ?
One more time...............
Well, just read the whole thread and I haven't found this answer yet.
Do these attys have the NASTY @$$ primer on them? This makes or breaks my purchase!

Just to make a quick note. I pm'ed AcesFull the day they left and made sure it was not going to offend him if I posted my thoughts on these maelstrom 306 atty's in comparrison with some other vendors. This is what I thought of them the day I received them after a few hours of use...
I am pleased so far with the Maelstrom 306 1.5Ω atty's. I purchased 2 to test out. Both tested right on the money as far as resistance spec's go. I had none of the "fitting issues" with the REOS mods desrcibed by other's that they had with the 510 versions. As always, first thing I did was to dewick the atty's. I did not de-bridge, or remove the wick from the coil. I primmed both in my normal 8 drops/10 minutes wait, then 3 more drops, and vape routine. First thoughts... They are very smoothe, no harsh after taste like other's experienced with the 510's. This issue may have been resolved already? They are a tad bit "too hot" for the Woodvil and Grand for my tastes, but perfect on my mini reo. Of course, neither is anywhere near being "broken in" yet so my opinion is subject to change. I did shatter one of my pyrex glass drip tips trying to get it more than a 1/3rd of the way on.. My el-cheapo derlin 306 long tips fit them like a glove though...Durrability will be noted at a later date... So far I like'em far better than 306 joye lr's, more flavor came through with the Maelstrom, IMHO. I'm undecided at this juncture which 306 1.5Ω atty I like more, the cisco's or the Maelstrom's. As for a "new kid" (or atty in this case) on the block, thats saying a HELL of a lot in my honest opinion! 2 be continued...
Here's what I think now 8 days of use later.... I'm VERY pleased with them still. The flavor is warm and very smoothe with a sweet juice. Th is, as would be expected, minimal with a sweet flavor... BUT vapor production is impressive with 70pg/30vg BWB Waffle juice. It took a full days worth of use for these to get "broke in". The flavor improved, and vapor production improved after about 3-5ml of juice through them. If these keep on lasting and performing like these 2 are, I'll be a happy camper. I will add any major changes that occur later on down the road.
My 2cents are this, glad I took the chance on a new atty. Was definitley a surprise, since I expected nothing more than a rebranded joye. It sure beats them in my book...![]()
Hey Mvgratz, hope all is well with you.
I have a question for you if you don't mind. I like the Cisco 306 LR 1.5 on my Woodvil and have been wanting to try these Maelstrom 306 LR 1.5's on it. You wrote that they are a tad bit hot on the Grand and Woodvil so I was wondering how they compare "heat wise" to the Cisco. Are they about the same or different?
Thanks for all your input throughout the forum.
