I would appreciate it very much if someone could explain the difference between the manual and automatic batteries.I have no idea why these pushbutton PTs/batteries are the preferred way to power ecigs. So far I notice the atty is not as hot and the juice is lasting longer. Also, I use that little hole on the atty to get a burst of vapor, but now that I have to push the button too, I can't figure out how to coordinate both things. I drip plus use a cart that I fill til its close to spilling. I tend to chain vape. Anyway, I am totally confused as to the difference so TIA to anyone who is willing to take the time to enlighten me.

With a manual battery you control the burn from start to finish. As soon as you press the button you are producing instant vapor. Manual batt's take alittle longer to kick in. Most manual batt's are plugged, so liquid will not leak from your atty to your batt. Auto batt's, or most of them are not plugged. I will never spend money on an auto battery ever again. Nothing but problems. I use 901 manual. Love it.

I had a supermini auto.

Wind set it off and would burn my leg, then I bought a case.

901 Manual to a 510 manual and not EVER looking back.

You can start the manual and then 1-2 seconds later take your drag. No constant sucking (for 10-30 seconds) just to find out that the battery is dead and the LED is blinking.

No prime(er) puffs, then a cut-off for a few seconds, just BLISS!

This manual PT is acting weird.

It started when I got the new super hot 901 attys with the long pointy wick that puts a dent in the cart filler unless you push the filler halfway down in the cart. The PT LED normally blinks green a few times when I screw in an atty. Then it glows orange when I push the button and inhale. Now not only is it blinking green after Ive already vaped awhile, but once the atty is fire hot, the orange light comes on and stays on until I unplug it from the USB wall adapter altogether. Its not just the orange LED thats on, the entire PT is continuing to heat an already way too hot atty.

The buttons not stuck, once I switch attys everything goes back to normal.

Anyone know why the manual PT wont turn off even when Im not pushing the button? And only when I use these new way too hot new 901 attys? I never really needed more vapor than this 901 delivers so have no plans to change models. But I thought this PT was gonna short out a fuse in my house. Im just relieved I wasnt still using it in my laptop.
