Hi, i´m using two models: 501 (eGo) and manual 401. I used to dryburn cleaning my 401 attys using manual batts, now they perform weak (the batteries), i guess i ruined them by several dry burns .
I decided to get a PT for cleaning instead, no matter what model it will be, i´ll use adapters. It only needs to be that cheap china stuff, as i order from HG exclusively, so please don´t recommend me higher quality PT from US vendors, those china PTs are dirt cheap and shipping is around 4USD. For given purpose, passthrough should have no cutoff (only KR8 is reported to have no cutoff at HG site, 510 don´t have any comment regarding this detail, all others have cutoff), so i will not need to count seconds and release button.
I would like rather 5V than 3.7V, as it will burn faster, but i would like to use it at my PC´s USB port, and all PT´s without inline batt needs 1300mA to work properly (stated on HG site). Another concern is i have read that M401 can´t go higher than (real) 3.7V, as it will pop at 5V. So, should i stick with 3,7V Joye510 inline batt PT ?
Pretty high requirements, aren´t they?
So the questions are:
1.Does have standard Joye510 inline battery PT cutoff time?
2.Does it runs at real 3.7V ? I mean, not ~3.1 like my eGo ?
3.If i understand correctly, battery in fact powers an atty, and USB port only charges battery. Is there a chance to replace inline battery for higher voltage one, say 5V ? To use included batt for burning 401s, and use stronger batt for burning 501s, with occasional 5V vaping on this?
I´m aware that i´ll be forced to compromise, if i can use only inline 510 on PC USB and if it actually has an cutoff, so please throw any pros and cons.
Thanks in advance.
