Hello, and thanks for having a place for us vapers to come share experiences.
I started vaping 4 weeks ago, and I have been tobacco free for 3 weeks now.
I started hard my first week, 24mg.
After my first bottle, I cut down to 18. I must be one of the exceptions, as I have read and heard, it is better to start around 12mg first.
I smoked real cigs since I was 12. I am now 50. So that is 32 years on tobacco, and after 3 weeks free, I feel good. No cravings, no withdrawls.
This is probably the 5th time I attempted quiting tobacco, and the 1st time, so far, successfully.
I would like to recommend to all newbies, to go cheap at first, to see if it is for you.
By that I mean, go buy the 7 dollar e cig from walmart or walgreens first. That's what I did.
And yes, they are cheap, in the short run. Mine quit after the second day.
So I then went to my local shop, and after sampling the many flavors, I chose one that was close to what I was smoking.
Then I purchased the lower end equipment. I think I paid around 30 dollars.
After my 2nd week, I upgraded my atomizer at a cost of just 13.00
I am now ready to upgrade to a better one, for more vapor. But I think I am going to drop to 12mg also.
I am also looking into making my own e juice. But that is for another post when I figure it out.
Whatever you decide to try, one thing to remember. Do it, and don't look back. Cigarettes never tasted this good, Ever. LOL
