I've been lurking long enough... I guess it's time for my first post.
I've been a pack a day smoker for 28 years and tried quitting many, many times. I successfully quit for a little over 2 years, but a very stressful time in my life brought me back to smoking a pack a day again. Maybe a year ago I picked up a Maverick e-cigarette from Walmart out of curiosity. The taste wasn't too bad, but it just didn't satisfy me enough to get off the cancer sticks, and I quickly gave up. Two months ago a friend of mine picked up a Blu Premium 100 kit, and quit smoking immediately. Three weeks ago today I bit the bullet and picked one up for myself at the drug store, not realizing the kits they had were the original kits, not the Premium 100 kits. Something was different than that crappy Maverick e-cig I tried before. This wasn't that bad and had the nicotine level I needed. I put the cigarettes down 3 weeks ago and I haven't had one since. The Blu isn't a bad kit, but I knew I needed more than the crappy little batteries and small vapes. I got a 510 kit a week later, bought some juice, and started researching everything I could find. I lurked around ECF, watched hours of Phil Busardo, Grimm Green, and countless others on Youtube. A week later I bought an eGo Twist 650, a Vivi Nova, cartomizers, and more juice. I had some 510 atomizers with my 510 kit, so I de-wicked and de-bridged them, and I find myself dripping most of the day. Now I'm realizing I have a problem... I'm hooked and I love it! Now I've got a Vision Spinner 1300 on the way, a Kanger Pro Tank, more cartos, and more juice. I've got to calm down a bit now until the savings from quitting smoking catches up to the cost of vaping. but I'm already planning my next step... maybe a Vamo? A rebuildable atomizer? Oh yes, and more juice!
I can't name everyone from all the great post I've found on ECF and videos on Youtube, but thank you everyone. Without you guys I might still be smoking.
