No, not Los Angeles. Louisiana. My name is Alex. I would post a picture of my rig, but it won't let me. I currently have an Evod with the 1100mah battery but it's leaking and gurgling and I don't have any replacement coils or anything to fix it. Going this week to get an Emow Mega. Anyone have experience with it? I think it's gonna be a really awesome cig for me. Seems like a really beefy Evod with VV and dual coils and a bigger tank.

Hey welcome... just so you know that tank on that battery is going to look really odd! as for your current setup I would empty out the tank, take out the coil and run it under some hot watch for a couple of minutes, blow over it a couple of times to get the excess water out and mount it back in the tank base. Do not put the tank back on just yet. Put the base back on your battery and pulse the fire button a few times until the coil glows. You will hear some sizzle and pop as whatever water thats left in the wicks get evaporated. At this point fill and reassemble your tank and you should be ok. The trick here is to make sure everything is tight, you might have a simple o-ring issue. Hope this helps.

Have a great vape!

PS. you can get a vamo for under $50 bucks to sits that mega on if your going to go that route!

Thanks for the info! I'm actually starting to consider just throwing a Protank 3 Mini on a 1600mah vision spinner 2 VV, to keep the low profile, sleek and simple design that I love.

Edit: actually, what atomizer and battery setup would you recommend with the Vamo v5? Seems like a very nice start for cheap!
If you're looking into a full-size mod like the a vamo and you want the tank kits, I would say either a kanger aerotank, aspire Nautilus, or eleaf has a nice already built setup also.
What part of La are you in? I'm around Nola, if you're in that area vapingtiger has some nice gear and great liquid!

Nola Metro here as well. :)
Cool, check out vaping tiger on athania,
The two owners work there all day and are very knowledgeable. They are both great long time vapors. Plenty of selection and they'll take the time to treat you right.
Also, I make my own juice, but still buy theirs so that I don't here bored, it's great stuff! Try their "waf dat pie" , "Irish bayou breakfast" and "sachmos snickerdoodle"
all three are addictive. I went through 15 mil of waf dat today Lol.
He's got a better selection on hardware than anyone else in town.
It's on athania between vets and i-10 right behind the shell station by causeway.
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions or want advice.
Nice to see a local on here!

consider an SVD by Itaste/Innokin... Vamos have brass threads in the 510 connect point, they will get loose over time. And if you drop the vamo, it will most likely die.. I had 2 vamos... both died from falls of less than 2-3 feet. ( each only lasted 1-2 months) The SVD has fallen/dropped several times and is now going on 10+ months of hard usage.

When I saw "LA" I thought for a minute you were from Lower Alabama. Just kidding.
The people here are really helpful and will try to point you in the right direction.
This is my fourth month off the cigs and even with all the new gear and juice I have acquired, it's still cheaper and safer than smoking(in my opinion)
I started out like a lot of people with an inexpensive EGO starter kit and never looked back. I use the Innokin VTR at home and at work I use the Totally Wicked E lectron s. When traveling back and forth to Australia, I carry my Innokin Gladius Aerotank and a handfull of batteries. Around home we have a few vape shops but I have found that most of the juice is crappy and if it is decent they charge an arm and a leg for it. I was recently turned on to ITC Vapes. They have a great selection of juice and I am yet to find one I don't like. Give them a try, the prices are great.
Welcome aboard:vapor:
