So... I smoked 1.5-2.5 packs of Camel Filters for a decade then stopped when I got married. Smoke free for a decade. A couple of years after our second child and I took a promotion in another State. This led to a year of commuting home on weekends 300 miles until our house sold. During that year our child was diagnosed on the autism spectrum and, effectively living out-of-state, you can tell what happens next. Yep... back came the nicotine.
My youngest is eight now (doing GREAT. High function Asperger's) and neither child has ever seen me smoke. I maintained that through LOTS of 4mg nicotine gum and late night drives wolfing down a pack of Black & Mild cigars. Yeah... inhaling that cigar smoke like a fiend - not a casual cigar.
The gum is pricey and I hate the stink of smoke on myself. A month ago I tried one of the disposable Blu ecigs. Not terribly satisfying but I was on my way. Based on this experience, I searched mainstream reviews and ordered a V2 kit with a couple of batteries and a sampler pack. MUCH more satisfying.
I then found a local shop in Indy (Indy Vapor) and bought a clearomizer for the V2 and some juice to recharge. Again... MUCH more satisfying. So, two weeks into the V2 one battery is already dead. Not really worth it to deal with warranty and I was vaping my way through nearly three full charges per day.
A trip last weekend back to Indy vapor and I've got a couple of Ego-Ts, a couple clearomizers with changeable heads and some Vermillion juice. Life is GOOD. Very good. No more 8-10 pieces of 4MG gum per day and the ensuing stomach aches. No more late night drives for stinkin' Black and Mild.
Sadly, now I'm looking at some of these really cool titanium custom jobs in the $200 range. Stop!
Anyway, nice to find a forum with so much info!
