new member, help with mechanical mod

hi I have several mechanical mod clones that are telescoping, personally i am pleased with them but i am looking for a cheap (probably cloned) mechanical mod that fits 18650s only, stainless steel and preferably with a magnetic switch.

please do not suggest fasttech I am tired on waiting on my orders for several months

nemisis can be had stateside for about 45-50 bucks. Just ordered mine tonight from buckysbargainvaping. they even sell the magnets for the conversion. Or you can try browsing ebay for something good and will find magnet upgraded nemisis, there rather then needing to order magnets along with the mod.

Why? Ebay is a great way to get products, especially toys/electronics. I ordered my Nemesis and it came with a KFun lite+ combo package, Can't argue there. Just need to make sure the seller has a good reputation and is a frequent seller, checking the reviews people give the seller is a good idea, I got mine in 3 days. Can't argue about that Lol, plus the nemesis runs for about 30-38 bucks by itself on ebay. Include shipping unless it's free like 3 more bucks and your good to go, some vendors even throw in the switch upgrade free. I personally don't feel it's necessary though, My nemesis is a Hcigar and the button is so smooth.

Nemesis, Origin, Caravela, Sigelei 8w, Chi You, King, Turtle Ship, all cloned to here there and everywhere lol you could add Hammer with tube and most of them with or can be turned magentic switch

The Origin brass I got from Focalecigs was fitted with magnets and very s....y copper firing contacts and $19 too, it was with me under 10 days to the UK

+1 on bucky's and the Nemesis recommendation. Also look at the Hcigar clone of the King mod there. I have one and love it.

i remember being that way once then i went to one of the big vape events and 1/2 the people there were tooting provari's and dct with cherryvape style driptips. that when i realized that the good stuff is popular because it is good. now i dont care what my friends have and what i have as long as we all are off the stinkies.

Make sure it's an Hcigar and you should be fine, I've seen some sketchy looking logos on the clones but Im really satisfied with the way mine came out. Hcigar IMO is a great vendor for clones. I can't justify spending 150+ $$ on a tube that holds a battery Lol, so Hcigar is a great alternative.

Maybe I misstated my selft I want an 18650 mod that isn't telescoping, the telescoping feature is just annoying to me since I use only 30a 18650's because I sub ohm

Agreed. I don't mind if it has different tube sections that thread on, I'm just not a fan of one tube sliding inside the other.

Like many others, I really like my Hcigar Nemesis, and I really love the stiff spring in the button. I also have the Hcigar Origin, and I don't like it nearly as well. The button jingles all over the place, and no way you could stand it upright without it firing. (unlocked) Other than that, I like it, but it's kind of a big deal to me.

Similarly agreed, I stand mine in the cupholder in my bulldog so standing and not firing is an absolute must. Any input on the hcigar caravella for that reason?

The Hcigar Nemesis 2 tone clone was my first mechanical. This clone made me want to buy an Authentic Mech. The Nemi clone has very low voltage drop, one of the top dogs in the mech world. You can get the magnet switch up grade plus the extended center post at fatdaddys vape for a decent price.

Would not recommend the origin clone, to much battery slop, not all my threads were precise and consistent in the tubes. I could only get it tight with running a 18490 with the kick 2 installed. Fits good in this configuration but no others. Also the adjustable throw is kewl and works nice, but it has a tendency to back out and could cause a misfire. Mine was by EHPro so more of a gamble on this one it appears.

The Hcigar Nemi is a solid bet. Can also be used 18650 with a kick, if that matters to you. I totally blame this clone for making me shop for the real deal and purchase the Stingray Copper Black mod. Real Nemesis are hard to find in stock, they sell them fast. So I searched for the items I look for, silver contacts adjustable/floating center pin, magnet switch. which the stingray all has. Now that the Stingray has been cloned, may be something to check out.

Wish someone made a high quality Roller or Dingo clone. I really would like a good side-fire mech, but the options are very limited, especially if you want a low-profile or flush fire button.

I got a Smok Magneto from a buddy on the cheap. like $15 cheap. But a little digging online finds them for around $50. It has a mag switch and telescopes.

Yeah when it comes to mech mods - what is the deal with real vs cloned - slightly better machining and fittings ? I dont see the justification either for a 100-200 battery tube. Makes me want to go back and choke myself for bejng a ...... and buying 3-4 tubes in the beginning when 6 volts was the in thing - thanks pure smoker for your worthless 100+ prodigy - not the vendors fault really though - really my own stupidity

I can see a high price mech mod if it came with sick amount of extras as they are super cheap if you in the business and buy wholesale, come with a good warranty, and have stood the test of time.

Good machining and reputation should be compensated. But abuse should not - Gluck with your new mech mod ! The joy is in the journey !!!!

Yepp indeed they are. Almost got that +aqua to make it a hybrid. Much happier with my Nemi+KFL+
