New member here, waiting for arrival of first foray into vaping.

I'm a strange one. Thing is, I can't form an addiction. Alcohol, cigarettes, doesn't matter. I can smoke two packs in a day for months, none for months, binge drink, go without. I just don't form addictions. But I feel the effects nonetheless when I do drink/smoke. Enough for my bragtroduction.

So I decided to try out vaping, and I ordered the Volcano (not the magma, the mini). I'm currently waiting for it to arrive. Seems like it'll get here Monday. Anybody out there used them? Thoughts?

Sorry, I know nothing about those but can say that vaping in general rocks!! I smoked up to 2.5 packs a day on the weekends for over 35 years. Haven't smoked for almost a year now! Welcome to ECF! This place rocks!! Enjoy!

Welcome to ECF. I don't use the volcano, but I am sure someone who is familiar with it will chime in.

I HOPE YOU DONT GET INTO vaping. No habit is good. Nicotine is bad and a PV is awesome for people like me. If you have the ability to not get addicted, just stay away. Good Luck and keep the nic low.

Who said I was doing it for the nicotine? Non-nic carts. I enjoy the social aspect of smoking.

I quit smoking twice in my life - coldturkey. Quit for 21 years the first time and 5 the second time. Started again a couple + years ago ... for the social aspects. I really enjoyed smoking. Vaping is not the same. I actually do it more since I vape inside vs limiting my smoking to outside. I actually miss wraping up in warm layers to sit outside with the dogs for half an hour in the mornings now.

So far vaping is costing me more than smoking as I try to get to the elusive really great vape experience. If I would just keep it for using around my smoking friends and not care about the 'really great vape' this wouldn't be a problem.

Hoping this doesn't become your first addiction ;-)

In response to your specific question, I have no experience with the Volcano. My most recent meanderings have been through all the material on the GLV-2 and the Journeyman/Ali'i.
