Hi everyone. I've been seeing this web page come up a lot when I have e cig / vaping questions. There is a lot of information on here that has helped me.

I got a hand me down Blu ecig pack from a friend. It was a couple years old but I wanted to give it a try. It was using the old style atomizer seperate from the cartridge. and it SUCKED. But the batteries were alright so I bought a pack of the new cartomizers. Worked alright for me. I also bought some Blu disposables and Tsunami disposables (which I didn't care for).

Over all my experience with Blu has been 50/50. Their customer service treats me alright but I've had to have a battery replaced right out of the box and bought a pack of carts that tasted FOUL (which they did a "1 time" replacement).

Thats about it :D

Welcome to the Forums! Lots of good info can be found here. I too came to this page very frequently when I had vaping questions and concerns. I am only two weeks into vaping, but there are a lot of very qualified individuals who can help steer you in the right direction.

I do remember reading this though: if it resembles a cigarette in appearance, its no good.

I started off on the Blu as well before bumping into a guy who was selling eGo kits. Made the purchase and never looked back. That, IMHO, was the best place to start. My wife still uses my Vision Spinners, and she hasn't smoked analogs in a few days.

Good luck and welcome again!

Welcome Johnny. I too am new to vaping (about 5 weeks) and am loving it. I'm spending much of my free time on this site trying to learn as much as I can, for what I want.

My suggestion would be to find a local vape shop and get a decent starter kit. I started with 2 ego style batteries, a couple of clearomizers and some juice. With just that I was able to quit a 40+ year, pack a day habit in only 4 days.

If you have a desire to quit smoking, this is the way to do it. Everyone is different so don't feel like you have to quit in 4 days or 4 weeks or 4 months. I've gotten 3 other people started on this and none of them have quit completely. They are smoking much less though.

Hang in there and good luck to you.

Hi ya' Johnny... welcome to the asylum.

Go with any of the suggestions above... really. Don't worry too much about your starter kit because if you like vaping at all, you'll eventually want try other things - different liquid delivery methods, different and/or more feature packed batteries and Mods. The trick is to just get... something and start vaping.
