New member... Kangertech Unitank question...

Greetings from a new member.

I'ev been vaping for several months and love it. Was using the Kangertech protank and loved it, but I had finally over abused it and it broke. Last night I bought the Kangertech Unitank (you know... because IT'S NEW!!) and have been having several issues with it. Primarily, the gurgling. The spring loaded mechanism seems to get filled with juice fairly easily and clearing it without emptying (removing tank from battery, holding a cloth over the batter end and blowing into the tank) doesn't really do much other than shoot all of the juice out.

I know that a lot of times there are mods done to these things to make them work properly anyway... what has been everyone's experience with this so far?

Thanks for the help!

I just picked up a unitank last night as well. The only modification I made was to the coil head - removed the silica top wicks and replaced with a strand of cotton yarn. Haven't had any issues yet, but I'm barely into my first tank right now. I look forward to some discussion and will offer anything I figure out along the way. So far so good on my end though.

I have a couple of unitanks and have to say I'm very impressed with the taste and vape production from them. I do however seem to only get about 2 weeks out of a coil.
Any suggestions?
I've been reading on how to clean them and will be cleaning it out daily this time. Hopefully that'll get note life out of it.
What does the cotton yarn do for you?

    No you can't
I got a Unitank last week been using Protank1 and 2 with a glass tank I notice a big change with the flavor most likely due to the plastic tank. Not happy with that. Going in my draw for a spare. From now on only glass tanks for me.

Has a tighter draw than Protank 1, 2

I did remove the flavor wick and the gurgling stopped

    Otherwise the tank is OK.

I had one, before I got stupid by putting hot cinnamon in it.I loved the top fill, much easier for me than the Davide I should have put the cinnamon in.

I did find out that I had to be very careful putting it back together after filling or cleaning to keep from having the problems with gurgling. Basically just being sure everything was lined up straight.

I think it was well worth the trouble, though, and would be ordering another, but I'm still new enough that for now I'm putting the money into trying different things out. I'll probably order another again soon though.
