Before bulk nicotine got shut down across the EU (750,000,000 people) I found the best Nicotine base liquid came from a very basic supplier. (Basic = not expensive or OTT with the marketing).
Now, I can't speak for the US, but according to many professional mixers and vendors, Nicotine only really came from a few sources.
i.m.o. there were lots of suppliers making out they were selling a premium product. No surprise.

I would suggest trying a few and deciding without buying large amounts. I bought expensive Nicotine that tasted really bad before I discovered that, like the rest of this industry, too many people just sell junk and pretend they are the best. Again, no surprise whatsoever.

Be careful.

I agree with DJ that it's good to try multiple sources in small quantities to determine what you like. So far, both Wizard Labs & Nicotine River have been good nic for me. I picked them to try based on info on this forum. And it may be true about there only being a few main extractors/producers. You don't need necessarily need a lot of slick marketing to move a quality product.

But there's no info at all about Xtreme's nic or its source on their site, So I wondered what research led to them. I could only find a couple of references to them in google searching. So I'm assuming you know something about them? Myself, I wouldn't buy from a site like that unless I already knew some specific info about them. Without that knowledge, or some really good referrals, I'd have to at least pick a site where they show some professionalism in attention to detail with spelling & grammar, and provide a modicum of info about their products and company.

Hi, and welcome Robert. I'm not familiar with the mentioned brands, but it piqued my interest, so I looked at the sites. I don't mean to pick at you, but how did you come across Xtreme, and what research drew you to it? Carolina looked very legit...but Xtreme looks like a pretty amateurish site, with no real info about the company or product, even the flavorings. What drew you to them? Again, not picking at you, but just curious - kinda seems like- "I've narrowed it down to a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow and a 1985 Yugo...";)
For what it's worth, I've been very happy with Nicotine River's nicotine. Quality stuff with a good rep, and you can save on shipping by getting a decent selection of top brand flavorings and diy supplies there.
Lol, 1985 yugo. Levi from Xtreme goes back several years with us here on ecf and has always been a great supplier with a great product. Nic Select has only been around for a bit.
Lame joke of the day - what did the owners of Yugo's call the rear defroster?

Yeah, give us some feedback on Xtreme please. When I tried it yrs ago, it was so clean that it wasn't good for vaping flavorless. A good clean nic should allow you to use less flavoring I'd imagine.
    Have fun.
Oh I def will r for sure. I’ve come across a few people and vendors saying that about it. which is why I picked it as one of my choices. I also read the customer service was awesome which I will say I’d have to agree. I talked to I’m assuming Levi on the phone and he seemed like a super nice guy and helped me out further in my decision.

Well I love to research things and I came across a few forums that mentioned xtreme actually on this site. I read that they’re nic was super clean and big juice vendors as well as another vendor said himself he uses nothing but xtreme they’re the best. You’re not pickin at me trust me haha no offense taken at all you’re curious as was I. I often wonder why people do what they do myself. what influences a decision as I’m curious and like to learn about everything. Lol I dunno what’s worse you comparing xtreme to a 85 Hugo or me actually remembering those pos cars when I was a kid lol. Hell today I wonder why the hell did anyone even buy one of those turds lol. Nic river carries nic select which was the brand of nic I had trouble with. Flavorings are easy ever wanted to make let’s say you’re moms pumpkin rolls but you didn’t know how until you found the recipe haha. Before I went down the diy hole I researched diy kits and who offered name brand flavors as well as the most of them. Then I picked out 3 recipes that sounded killer to me and ordered the kit n extra flavors. I didn’t research to do that stuff I figured that came w common sense which I know isn’t so common haha. As far as the websites are concerned though I look at that this way. You’re product does the talking for you not a fancy web page from a expensive web designer. Yes the page will draw you there that’s it’s job but you’re product is what keeps them coming back. With that major volume though sometimes tlc gets lost or forgotten. Customer service means something to me as well. For me to be able to talk to Levi and hear from him get his knowledge and insight and his opinion means something. He is a awesome guy trust me on that one. I did talk to Carolina too and they were awesome as well. I look at it this way just cause you’re not well known doesn’t mean crap. It’s often the smaller guys who offer better services without question. They have more time and actually care about what they do and the work they put out. Ok I’m done now lol sorry it was so long but I appreciate the questions that’s for sure

Absolutely do I couldn’t agree w you more. The basic guys tend to care about what they put out. Absolutely I got sample sizes first for sure. I think if you go out and buy liters cause it was on sale and you’ve been wanting to try and let’s say jack said it’s the best well is jacks specs the same as yours or does he like a peppery taste. Total waste of money in my opinion. I’m sure a lot do sell junk that is why I did research and came up w who I did. I think if you get lucky you’re first time out awesome but now what if there’s another nic out there that you would like more. You won’t know unless you try to find it. I also came across threads on here from some of you’re members referring to a place not gonna say the name as you can search it up. They said he was a total jerk. Customer service was bottom of the barrel. I dunno about anyone else but I’m not giving you my money PERIOD. If he doesn’t realize it’s people like us that keep him in business well sorry bud but we can also make you go out of business.

Yes he has a long time I was reading forums mentioning him he’ll 5 years + back. That’s what I heard and he’s one hell of a nice guy. Not a fan of nic select. I like the lame joke of the day pretty funny lol.

Yeah, no disrespect meant for the guy. I did see a couple of old posts on ECF about him & the clean nic, but that's it. Guess I was just surprised that out of the whole interweb, he'd have that site's nic in the top 2.o_O

Have you tried any of them Letitia? Only thing that scared me on a couple was the 30% flavorings that’s just not right haha. I may try it anyhow ya never know.
No, not my cup of tea. Love ELR, so took a look for you. They have a thread for Boss Reserve.

So far I think I’m going to order Carolina and xtreme and I will post my opinions on both for future people in the same boat I am. I will say this if someone out there comes across my thread by date or chance DO NOT BUY NIC SELECT AS YOU WILL BE HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST
    Welcome and glad you joined.

Xtreme was one of the four premium nics in the blind test.

All I'll say about it is that it was by far the most expensive. ;)
Interesting test results Rossum. To me it’s not that much money now. I paid 11 for 125ml bottle. Total w shipping around 15 bucks. Carolina I paid 33.00 w shipping.
