PM'd you Chrissie

So Guys, how does one refill an e-lites cart?? what gear do i need to buy ( and from where in the UK (...FYI, was a CamelLights man up until stopped smoking....

If you can see the fiber you just drip drops on to it until it looks slushy. Most e-juice comes with dripper tips to make it easy.

Ok, sweet... following on from a bit of research i realised i can pull the white plastic toking end out of the e-lite with a thick paperclip. inside there appears to be a paper tube surrounded by some fibre material...

so, am i correct here in thinking i just soak the fibre in e-juice and then ready to go as per a new tip??

obvious question is how much to put it, how far to fill with the liquid???

also, was always partial to camel-lights, any connoisseurs out there with any suggestions of which juice to try and which site to buy from (UK )???

cheers everybody!!

Most e-liquid comes in a squeeze bottle with a dropping tip. Think like an eye drop bottle.

Squeeze one drop at a time. Droplet size will vary from bottle to bottle. My halo g6 cartomisers for example, from dry took about 15-20 drops. They should be comparable in size to your e-lite cartomisers. As your cartomisers already had juice in them it may not take this many drops to top them up.

I aim for a saturated look, but you probably need to stop short of a puddle of e-liquid just sitting there. You don't want them overflowing.

If you feel you have overfilled leave it sit for a few mins and it will probably soak into the fibres. If its not working soak off the excess with a twirled up tissue or similar.

You should be able to refill each cartomisers many times. Until it stops working basically :)

For more advanced use consider washing / cleaning your cartomisers occasionally (search forums, I haven't yet attempted this)

James, well done for giving up the tobacco. I did too using E-lites in February this year and tried a few other brands mainly advertised on Wowcher and Groupon. Whilst E-lites are both mine and my wife's favourite I too think they exaggerate their 40 cigs per cartomiser as I found they struggle to last a single day and they are not cheap at £4.00 each if you buy the 5 pack. Some have been empty as well. I have also found that their delivery is terrible compared to the competition and had to ring them once after 2 weeks. This was an order placed direct and not through Groupon. I don't like waiting 4/5 days which seems to be their average and should really be 2 days for first class post. I get the feeling am I going to get my order when I place it with them. Their customer service however I found to be very good.

You could try Vapourlites or VLites as they are known. Theirs are not bad and delivery is a lot better than E-lites. They last a little longer too and are under a tenner for a 5 pack. Recently I have tried the new Freedoms on offer through Wowcher and they're not bad and will re-order with them. I have also tried Vapouriz through Groupon and took 5 weeks to get to me and I won't be ordering again. 6 drags and some of them were empty and it's the old atomizer idea. Waste of money in my opinion and I still have a pack I haven't bother to try which is a shame because they don't taste too bad.

Recently I placed 2 orders through Groupon with VIP Electronic cigarettes. On first taste I wasn't that keen but thought hey am not wasting £38 and started to work my way through them when my E-lites ran out. I was hooked on their tobacco flavour at 16mg. I placed a further order with them at 8pm last Tuesday and they were with me on Thursday morning. £8.99 per five pack and each cartomizer lasts about a day. Here's the good bit. I ordered a coffee pack, it's an acquired taste but also ordered their Virginia pack too. I just put one in and it's nice and I would say similar to E-lites and think will be my favourite from now on.

Hope this helps. It's worth trying the Freedoms and VIP when they appear on either Wowcher or Groupon and I bought the Vapourlites direct after my daughter emailed me a 25% discount voucher. I found VIP's the best delivery so far with Vapourlites a very close second and unfortunately E-lites come last due to cost and delivery times.

Hello & welcome Smarguy :)

There really are so much better deals & so much better e-cigs available in he UK than the ones that come up on Groupon. Those ones just draw you in with discounted deals to begin with, then charge over the top for further supplies, plus they all over exaggerate the equivalent of how many real cigs their over priced "tips" (cartridges/cartomisers) compare to :(

Have a look at this list of the better UK suppliers -
