New member - menthol question

Hi, My name is Melissa and I've been smoking the TW e-cig since September. My question isn't for myself. I love my e-cig and have had amazing luck with it.

I've recently ordered a TW e-cig kit for my dad who has been a menthol smoker since he was 14 (he's in his 50s now). I have heard from others that the menthol liquid isn't that great. I myself have never tried it since I smoke the regular tobacco.

Any suggestions? He hasn't received the kit yet - just place the order last night.

I love the menthol flavor from Americaneliquidstore.com. I smoked menthol for over 15 years, so I probably wasn't the easiest person to get hooked if it weren't so good. I just lucked out a week or so ago and got a 60 ml bottle of my perfect 24 mg nic for $15. My last menthol cigarette/analog, months ago, was Pall Mall, if that helps at all. Good luck!

HEck i think even the cheapo Dekang Menthol isn't that bad either, and the throat hit will knock you on your .... if you didn't smoke full flavor menthol before

I use TW Menthol as my everyday vape. Tastes more like chewing gum or a minty sweet than a menthol cigarette though.

I dissolved 1/4 ounce of menthol crystals in 15ml of PG (you have to warm it up to get it to dissolve, but once it's in solution, it doesn't separate). I can then add as much as I feel like when I'm refilling a carto. I was a menthol smoker (3-4PAD for 30+ years), but about 5 drops, along with 15 or so of tobacco flavored e-juice, is strong enough for me.

It's as pure menthol as you're going to get, and you (or your dad) can quickly find the amount that satisfies.

As you can see, OP, there are as many different opinions as there are liquids. The best thing to do is to order small samples of different menthols to try until you find one you really like. Some companies won't sell you sample sized bottles, but in my opinion, they are not worth doing business with. No one wants to buy a 15 or 30ml bottle of something they don't know if they like. I aslo was a menthol smoker Newport....so far I've tried 3 different e-liquid brands and americaneliquid.com has done it for me. I also use %100 VG Menthol. I also got that sale: 60ml for $15 plus $4.95 S/H wich was a great deal and great e-liquid

I smoked menthol for years, I'll add one more in here that I found to be my favorite. V4L's Smilin' Special Menthol. Yummy stuff.
