Hi all,

Glad to be here! Looks like a wealth of information!

I got my self an e cloud a month back, yesterday I had to go get a new tip as the atomiser had packed up.
So anyway was enjoying it (cut me down from 20 a day to 6 a day) and I dropped it on the floor.
It stopped vaping for a little while then just started up again about 5 minutes later.

Today its fine, then I got to refill it and blam!
Wont vape. Not even a slight gurgle noise from the burn.
And to cap it all off today was my first day of not having a normal morning cig.

So can dropping these things brake them?
I know what the atomiser is made up of, but for it to just stop working like that?
The quality of my stuff isnt bad at all compared to poop e lites etc.

Hi and welcome to ECF. Realize all these PVs have a pcb inside and are very delicate. Realize also the wires are close to the thickness of a strand of hair. If your atomizer is the problem it could be shorted out. If the problem is the battery it could be the button or the wiring.

Thanks!

Looks like my vaping is out of action today, wont be able to sort owt just yet.
Think I need a well rounded kit with back ups.

Sad to hear that. At least you're on the right track. Chrissie knows of a number of reasonably priced cig sized kits you could buy. Not promising anything but let me see if I can find something she recommends. Whereabouts in England are you located?

Ive gone over the Ecloud, battery seems fine, give it all a quick clean same result.
Yeah any help would be nice, thanks.

If the battery is still working it may be the post on the atomizer that got pushed down. try GENTLY pulling the post on the atomizer battery end up about 1 mm
I'm thinking maybe it's not making contact with the battery.

That was a good attempt vapoor at problem solving it.
Turns out inside the refil chamber, the bit where the wicks are attached was loose, I tightened it up and its fired up again! (Dont understand how it came loose like that)
:) :) :)

I am defnetly interested in getting together a good kit with backs ups; ie two batterys, a few atomisers etc.

Yeah but my idea didn't work whereas yours did
Regardless I'm just very glad you got it working.
I'll admit I know very little about cig sized PVs however Chrissie could definitely help you out. Before buying just think about anything you don't like and do like about your present setup and move forward from there. Best to try and get a PV that has the most common 510 threading as that would offer the greatest # of accessories at the best price.

This is practically identical to mine other than the writing on the side of the battery.
Single Electronic Cigarette starter kits
Thanks a lot for your help.

510 threading universal. got it.

Great. That's a good PV except there's only 1 battery. You would also want a wall adapter as sometimes if something goes wrong with the charger or battery the usb and/ or the PC MB could be damaged. Let me look around.

Then your present battery has 510 and eGo threading and is an eGo class/ style PV. Fires at either 3.3 or 3.7 volts depending on the manufacturer. Searching "eGo 650" will yield lottsa results and info. It's a good battery.
650 mah...100 mah= approx 1 hr of vaping before recharge required.

Hi.

I managed to get hold of another battery, twice as long as my original.

I also got a handful of atomisers.
I'm having trouble with a metallic or dull taste.
I boiled them for a few minutes and dried them completely.

I can taste the vape at first but two seconds in to the burn becomes hot and tastes like crap.
I would of got a new full kit but money is tight at the moment. I read that bad tastes are common. I'm sure I saw this atomiser glow red....

I just changed to another atomiser and the horrible taste went away. now the taste and awesome kick is. back.

it looks like the atomisers are hit and miss. I'm not getting the hot feeling eithier with this one too, I can vape a full blast. I would of kept up here but I'm on my mobile and its difficult as my provider is hit and miss.

what would you guys reccomend for atomisers that are constant and not known for that horrible metal/heat taste? the guy I go to had a few duds before when I went for my first atomiser... just think it would be better if I got a high quality one...

many Thanks, hopefully when. I get back home on the pc ill be able to read up and post more.

if this atomiser goes the same way....
