Hello.

New to vaping (4 days). Love it... and not felt the need to smoke, so planning on a little investment. I'm still using the cheapy chinese one from Amazon (£4.52 delivered with 10 carts!)

Anyway, no need to repeat common advice... I have on the way to me a Riva 510 which I bought from LF following the recommendations off here.

Now - to the point - My RIVA 510 (se) shall arrive with normal carts... I wanted to start out with these; however I also wish to play around with the tanks as the ability to visibly see your liquid appeals to me, plus they seem to have good reviews. I'm aware from other posts that Riva510 parts are largely interchangeable with Ego 510 parts, but what about the tank busniess?

Q1.
If I wish to use my standard Riva 510 with a tank, clearly I will need some tank cartridges and juice, but do I need a different atomizer? new cone? (and why)

Q2.
I see lots of Type A and B stuff. Can either be used with any battery size? For what parts is the 'type' relevant? Exactly what things won't match? I'm worried about buying the wrong thing.

Q3.
Where is the best place to buy the parts.. FOR ME IN THE UK? (There's some stuff written on the LF site about distribution rights??!)

Thank you very much in advance for your advice...

Q1 - Yes you will have to buy an atty for the type of tanks that you get A - A or B - B. You do not need a cone.

Q2 - Again you can use either. The difference is the size of the tanks and again you have to by the tanks that go with the atty type.

Q3 - Lf should have what you are looking for, but I am sure that there are other place but not familiar wit the UK suppliers.

Thank you for your reply...

So to confirm my understanding....
- The type A/B is relevant to the atty and cart(or tank) only.
- I can use my standard battery with any combination of atty/tank/cart, as long as the atty and cart/tank are of the same type as each other, be it A or B
- my standard cone will not need to be changed at any point, whether I am using type A or B.

If you can confirm all of those statements then I think i've got it!! Re the UK situation, if anyone here in the UK can advise, as it APPEARS on the LF website that they will not supply 'T' parts, with the text (including spelling error)...
.... "Please note : These spare parts are only for sale to none UK customers due to distribution rights."......
That comment was regarding an Ego T type A atomizer on the UK part of the website.

Best regards,

Marcus

you are correct, in the case of the tank atties you do not use a cone at all actually as the cone is part of the atty itself. Also you do need to make sure that you are getting the tank style atomizers as they are different from the regular ego "type-a and type-b" basically it has a special pin with a wick inside that goes up into the tank. as far as where to get it I am pretty sure that totally-wicked has them on their site, they rebrand them as the "tornado tank" but its the same thing and iirc they have are based in the UK.
