Before spending any more on stick batteries (which I still use for portability's sake), look at the itaste MVP. It will take you to the next level and beyond with a small investment (50-60 bucks). It is probably the most universally liked piece of kit besides the provari.

Warning. It is a box, it is a bit heavy, and the button is hard to push. But even with those things, people still love it because it. just. works. And it allows you to move into power vs. watts and coil resistance at your own pace. And will enable you to move forward into rebuilding if that's where you end up. It will also cook clearos just fine.

Thanks again Twicehorn. I looked at the itaste and watched some youtube reviews after reading the suggestions and great information all of you have kindly given me. GrimmGreen's review has taken away much of my fear and confusion about vv and vw as far as the itaste is concerned. I have been mulling over the idea of buying one of these instead of another stick battery.

I also watched the Provape tour video that Vapor King posted on their FB page. Love all of Provapes quality control during the entire manufacturing process. I have even fallen in love with the upcoming new limited addition dragon design. But alas.... my wallet started screaming as it went running for the hills. I haven't been able to coax the poor thing out of it's hiding spot. I can still hear it's low soft whimpers...

+1..What Baditude said, pure and simple, it is the wick material used...Now if you are adventurous you can gently pull out the silca and replace it with cotton. Use just enough cotton to get it through the coil and not damage it and long enough to be in the juice.

Tip..when pulling out the silica, twist it tight so the diameter gets smaller then pull it out. Same for the cotton, it will swell up once soaked.

Thanks for the info Panorama911. I might try that if all else fails. But I'm gonna reserve this for a last resort.

Somehow I have a feeling that this step I took to stop smoking is going to slowly turn into a hobby. I can already feel the bug starting to bite me... lol.

It'll do that, I used to vape solely for the nicotine replacement, now it more for the flavor & hobby too.

However, it's still a less expensive hobby than smoking is, unless you get carried away & you'll likely live longer also.
