Hey all,

I just got my pv in the mail last week, and I'm already a big fan. I use chewing tobacco, and am hoping I can substitute my pv for dip the majority of the time. I also like it as a hookah alternative when I'm away from home for long periods of time (part of the reason I dip).

Rocking a Joye 510, and just ordered one of the extended batteries for it as well as some Mt. Baker Vapor e liquid. Looking forward to learning a lot from this forum.

I have a friend I got to quit the dip with an ecig. He started at 20 mg for the first week, then stepped down to 15 mg. He hasnt dipped in over a month!

I smoked or chewed for over 15 years. I have started to vape and have remained chew/ cigarette free for 3 months. Its possible. Keep it up! And welcome from a fellow newcomer!

Both are slang terms for using smokeless spit tobacco.

But to be technical, dip is the fine-cut loose stuff you pack in your lip and let sit there (Cope, Skoal, Grizzly, etc.) Chew, on the other hand, you have to actually chew on to get started, then place it between your check and gums... It has a more molasses/honey flavor than dip (Redman, Beech Nut).

hi and welcome. The only thing I know about chewing is that my grand uncle had a spitoon and I never wanted to get too close to that thing. Many members here have quit smoking rather rapidly. Welcome again.

Little secret from a new vapor like myself that I learned . Make sure you drink lots of water while vaping. Other wise eventually you will lose flavor and it's a result of dehydration . Happy Vaping and welcome to the forum.
