Your doing good bro, Keep it up. You did a good job upgrading to the ego twist 1100 and the protank II. A nice hook-up. Personally I feel Kangers have a poor wick & coil system. Trust me I have every Kanger there is. They leake , air pockets, atc..

I rebuild all mine. It's very simple. Kanger uses 3mm "Fiber Wicks" in there items for the most part. I rebuild the wick & coil system using 4 X 1mm Silica and it makes a world of difference. The 4 x 1mm fills the holes were air is getting into the coil chamber. The Silica is far better wicking and the taste is actually better with silica!

This might be to advanced for you now as I have no idea how technically inclined you are. . If you watch the two videos below you can do it if you want. Kangers are GREAT once you edit them.. Good luck and keep the fight up. Your life depends on it!

I am going to buy the iClear 30 with the aluminum middle tomorrow. I hope that will work out for me and will use my mini protank 2 as a back up. Will try that first and then in a couple of weeks will get a mod - thinking Vamo 3?

I own both the Vamo V2 and V3 and when it was released a year ago it was the best budget buy APV available. My V2 (used 9 months) button a little wonky. V3 (4 months) works great BUT I consider myself one of the lucky ones as the quality is very hit and miss- some Vamos work for a year and others have issues almost immediately or shortly thereafter. My biggest complaint with mods under $100.00 has been the build quality. They all seem to work GREAT in theory but many times fail in real life situations.
I just recently bought 2 Mods and am very impressed by the build quality.

Am very happy with it and my only "minor" complaint is the button is a little stiff- complete kit about $40.00 and is a little more powerful than the Twist and Spinner with some much wanted bells and whistles.

Next is my favorite. The Zmax V3 Telescopic Zmax. More powerful than the Spinner, Twist and MVP 2. Build quality is superb. The only problem is after buying the Zmax Tube, 4 batteries and charger (quality) you're prolly looking at just under $100. It's a very well made and time tested PV so I believe the price is fair. My last Vamo was from FastTech and cost $57- included 2 high quality batteries and charger- VERY important to buy quality batts and charger- not only for safety but also longevity. Many kits come with a weak link and for Mods it's always been low quality batts and charger which usually fail or under perform a short time later. So if I had bought another 2 batteries cost for the Vamo kit would've been approx. $77- not much diff from the Zmax.

Video below is about the V2 because there's far more info and testing.

Here's the V3- much shorter review:
