I'm a new member and wanted to say hello and post a couple questions. I've been vaping and off analogs for 6 months. Enjoying vaping and my new sense of smell and lung capacity. I started with blu's (I know, at least I'm not still using them) and stopped by a local vape store in November and got a Kanger starter kit with an evod battery and mt3s clearo. I now also have an innokin SVD, i30, and i30s. I recently ordered an Aspire Nautilus after reading and watching all the reviews on them. I received it yesterday rinsed it all out, filled it up and put it on the SVD. I made sure to start it out on a low voltage where I've been told this is good to do with a new coil. I hit it once and it stated gurgling and leaking really bad from the air flow hole. I moved it to the largest air hole and increased the voltage to try to dry it out which is what I read to do and it was still gurgling and flooding. I tried gently blowing it out the air hole. Still no luck. I emptied it out, cleaned it all up and tried again with still the same results. Anyone have any suggestions? My other question is I'm planning on ordering a Kayfun lite plus or Russian 91% but everyone seems to be out of stock on both except dnavapor which has the special edition russian with the polished SS but due to fingerprint and looks I would rather have the original finish. I'm on the email list to email me as soon as vaperev gets more kayfuns in. With all the clones and clones of clones out there I'm afraid from ordering places that I have not heard of or can't find info on. I found the russian 91% here Russian 91% - Advanced but have not heard of that vendor. I was wondering if anyone has heard of them and if they're legit and if this is an up to date russian. Anyone know anywhere that has Russians or kayfuns in stock? Thanks for making a wonderful forum and sorry this is so long.

I'm sorry to hear about your problems with the Nautilus. It sounds like you might have received a bad tank. I've had zero issues with mine thus far but have heard a couple others have similar problems. Where did you order it from? About a Russian 91% my advice would be to click on the link that says "Forum Suppliers" at the top of the page.

I got it off ebay from a supplier in China...something I was debating doing but finally decided to do. They had really good reviews. It has an authenticity sticker on the box and seems to be authentic. The only thing I noticed that was odd was when I took it out of the box, the o ring that seals the top of the tank to the upper housing was stuck to the tank. I assumed it was from packaging or transport and peeled it off and put it up in the upper housing. I have it cleaned out now and thinking of trying it again but I've already wasted so much juice from it flooding and leaking, I was trying to see if anyone had any suggestions first. I'll check out that vendor list for anyone that may have Russians or Kayfuns. Thanks for your help and reply!

I think I have the same problem with my Nautilus but haven't tried to problem shoot it. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with juice viscosity. So far I've only tried it with Rocket Fuel's Mia Mojito; it's some pretty thin juice, but it smells so good. I'm also getting that subtle burnt taste along with the gurgle. :(

I tightened my coil down on the bottom as tight as I could both times I've tried it and still within a few seconds of the first puff, juice is flowing out the airhole and up through the drip-tip and usually into my mouth. I hate having e liquid in my mouth too, doesn't taste good prevaporized...lol.

Weird...have you tried the othe coilhead that came with the pack?

Oh...and you don't want to overthighten it either.

I'm going to try the other coil head later. I guess that's about the only thing left to try. I've just been tightening it finger tight basically. If it still has the same issue, I'll just have to contact the seller on ebay. If anyone hears of any website having the Kayfun Lite or Russian 91% in stock, please let me know. I'm going to run through the vendors on the vendors list later this evening. Thanks all!

If you got through ebay...contact the vendor for replacement. Ebay is real good about vendors making things right. I ordered a korean flat panel that arrived damaged and had a replacement from korea within 5 days...

Unless you ordered ecig stuff, since ebay prohibits the sale of them.

When these come new some times the coil is not tight. I have two of them and they are the best tanks I have ever bought. YOU need to check and make sure the coil is installed correctly Also WARNING on the bottom of the coil is a small silica gasket (washer) to seal the coil to the head if this is missing the tank will leak just how your talking about

I own 3. The first 2 had the same problem. I tried the following technique on the Nautilus after watching a vid on how to top fill the Russian 91%. They stopped leaking.

1. Fill tank to desired volume (With tank upside down of course).
2. With the largest air hole open, cover it with your finger.
2. Twist the bottom of the tank of the filled top while keeping your finger on the air hole.
4. After the top is completely tightened to the bottom, remove your finger to expose the opened air hole.
5.Turn the Nautilus right side up.

I finally got it working. I changed the coil in it and it started doing it again but I tightened the tank down to the top hardcore and it quit leaking. I think I was just not tightening it down enough...lol. Affraid of breaking the pyrex but I guess you have to. I also ordered my KFL+ tonight from cloud nine and can't wait to get it in! Thanks everyone!

Ok, I got up this morning and grabbed the Nautilus and it was like using a straw. The e-liquid came straight up the drip tip and into my mouth then out the air hole. Maybe it's not working. I've emptied it and taken it apart and put it aside for a while. It's just frustrating me specially knowing how much everyone else loves them. Guess it may be some manufacturers defect. My fiancee has an Aerotank and loves it and hadn't had any issues from it. This thing is just making me mad....lol. Impatiently waiting on my KFL+....it's been shipped. Hope I have better luck with it!
