I got the polished Russian 91 from Vapor dna also. I'm loving it so far. I also have a Kaifun Lite that I run on a Provari. 1.5 ohm is perfect for the Provari.
Ordered a Russian 91 polished ... Did I make a good choice?

Originally I didn't think I could thread cotton through a 1/16th drill bit. It looked too small. So I used a 2mm screwdriver, which came out to a 1.5 coil. That was Saturday.
Tonight I took it apart and thought I'd try your suggested build. Finally got it on my third try. The ohm meter toggled between 1.1-1.2. Moved it to the provari, and it's a solid 1.1. It's working great!!! So thanks again!
Only wish I used the same juice I had been to compare apples to apples. But man does it put out the vapor!
I've got a black edition kayfun clone, and an authentic Patriot on the way. I'm hoping they show by the weekend. New toys!
I had researched for a few weeks before I found the one that had everything I was looking for. I finally found this on eBay for $35.69. It should be here Wednesday.

- Upgraded interchangeable drip tip. Still tapered, but has a larger hole. No need to drill it out like everyone has been doing. -any of your 510 drip tips will likely fit in the top as well.

I bought a "real" Russian 91% polished and then a $21 polished clone. The dang thing are more or less identical, I can swap out the parts and can't tell the difference with the exception of the 91% logo on the base of the authentic one.
