New Member with a question

Hey guys,

Just signed up for this forum. A few weeks ago I picked up an e-cig. I think the one I have is a be-103, it's this one Mini e cigarette- BE103/DSE103 mini e-cigarette.

I wished I'd found this forum before buying, I just kind of blindly bought one. I got this one because it looked like a cigerette, and I thought that would help physiologically with quitting smoking. I haven't completely quit yet, but I'm definately not smoking as much.

Anyway I'm having a problem with one of the two batteries that came with my e-cig. One of my batteries suddenly doesn't seem to be working. I'll put it in the charger and the green light indicates it's fully charged, but when I try to use it, nothing happens when I hit the e-cig. My other battery works fine, it's just this one. Anyone got any thoughts on fixing this?

I suspect a problem with the switch if its a manual battery or the sensor thingamabob if its an automatic.

Contact the vendor that sold you the starter kit and see if they'll help you out. Worst case scenario: You replace it for $7.45 + shipping.

You can try cleaning the battery with a qtip dip in alcohol and go around the threads. If still not working contact the vendor, if they are a good company they will send you a new one. Keep vaping your doing good in time you wont want cigarettes, but look at it this way you cut down and thats a win ! WELCOME

Do you like that PV? If it's faulty in other ways you might think about dropping 30$ to buy something more popular. Basic starter kits for better performing PVs are out there for really cheap.

Mini's have a notoriously short life, I'm sorry to say. If it's still under warranty you might want to contact the vendor and see if they'll replace it. This is a problem with most e-cigs that look like cigarettes. In the meantime, you might want to consider getting a KR808D-1 kit. They're reasonably priced and work very well. There are lots of registered vendors on the forum who sell these and they will stand behind their product.

+1 on the clean with alcohol.

That's your best bet. Always worth a try. If that doesn't do the trick, contact the vendor for a swap.

OK so I searched for cleaning it with alcohol, and it seems the battery needs to be drained before cleaning. But right now the battery is fully charged, and since it wont hit, I can't use it to drain it. How long will it take for it to lose charge by just sitting there?
