There are places that have pg free e-liquid. Just be sure to read well. Most flavorings are in pg but not all. Some are in alcohol which can be evaporated off after mixing.

People tend to get gung ho to help out and overlook the first post where you state your pg concern.

Well I WANT PG in my intial vape. I am trying to expose myself to PG on purpose to see if the reaction is similar to what I have been experiencing with pipe tobacco.

I am trying to isolate something that could be causing my reactions.

Thanks for all the recs! I have been checking out Want2vape as well. It seems like they have some awesome NETs as well.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Can't wait to see what happens regarding PG and vaping. Should be interesting.
Ooooooh-Yeah! Want2Vape London Blend is absolutely amazing! Their juices are coil-killers but man are they worth the trouble! Louisville is outstanding as well!
Hey, keep us informed after your experiment... I'm curious to hear the results.
Good Luck!

itc vapes has an ry4 called dirty dutchman that is a real up front tobacco taste with carmel chocolate after tast. Cash by the vapor spot is a straight on strong tobacco taste.

Your question is really a little confusing though. If you are really trying to test out PG sensitivity just buy a $20 starter kit and this PG (Propylene Glycol) - Bull City Vapor $2.50 plus shipping and you will have your answer.

For a great vape listed above is nicoticket.com The Virus. Or they have one called radioactive that is less sweet more tobacco to my taste buds.

Maybe you could just go see a doctor first and also let him know whats going on and what he has to think about the experiment for in the chance you are having reactions to pg. I really wouldnt want to have you possibly die from it and also not feed any fuel to the fire of having vaping become as regulated as smoking has.

You can't die from PG.

And it's vape some to see the reaction for 30-50 bucks or drop 300+ on an allergy test. I'll take the cheaper.

Thanks for your half hearted concern of me ruining vaping by accidentally dying though.... haha

Pipeman from what I'm reading it don't look like you're ready to quit smoking
pipes and cigars yet. You have to be fed up with them for Vaping to work bro.

He's not trying to quit smoking, did you read his OP?
He is simply trying to inhale some vaporized PG to see if he is having an allergic reaction to the PG used as a flavor carrier in pipe tobaccos. He fully enjoys smoking a pipe and plans to continue. Vaping is simply the easiest means for him to inhale some vaporized PG. This seems pretty clear if you read his posts.

My bad I guess I didn't read it right. Check out other things I've said and you may find more things I've misread. Anyway good luck with that Pipeman.

No worries. Easy to jump to conclusions since his post is the exact opposite of what most are here to do. I just keep seeing it get misinterpreted so wanted to jump in and help keep it on track. It's not often we see a post with someone wanting to try vaping to help keep smoking, lol.

That is crazy. I'm out!

Good luck with your experiment. Don't expect any e-liquid to taste like tobacco, though. Have you tried flake tobacco, by the way? May suit you better than ready rubbed.

Oh yeah, I have probably 30 or so tins of flake tobacco. FVF, Fire Flake, Best Brown, Ennerdale, Kendall Flake....lots of flake. Lots of pipe tobacco.

Thanks for reading my OP!

I have kind of stopped looking at this thread because yeah, no on seems to get what I am trying to do

I know it is crazy for me to try vaping to keep smoking but I am lucky where in tobacco has not taken control of my life. It is just something I like to do maybe 2-3 times a week and enjoy. If it does end up being PG causing my problems, well I will always have my cigar collection and I will just smoke once or twice a month. And who knows, if vaping fills a hole where the pipes left, then maybe I will take this hobby up using 0 nic juices.

Anywho, as an update, turns out one of my co workers is a vape head and said he has so many mods and things that he will just loan me one of his units and some juice to try out for a bit no cost to me. So hopefully I can get up and vaping by the weekend! Then I will let you all know who are interested whether I have an adverse effect to the PG.

And so everyone is clear...no one has ever died from PG. You cannot die from low level PG. It is an irritant.

Now if you drink a bunch of PG, yeah, then you might die. But a tiny bit in a vape or tobacco....it is not deadly.

Not necessarily. I've read of quite a few around here that decided to give vaping a try, just to see what it was like... and forgot to smoke. No kiddin. It's hard to imagine that, but I experienced a version of that, sort of, in slow motion... over a month's time, the cigarettes just.. went away. Granted, I really was fed up with smoking and dying to quit, if I could do it without suffering. Found it. :D

Happy New Year, everyone! Happy Vaping in 2015!

Pipeman - glad to see your friend was able to set you up with equipment and juice for your experiment - hopefully, you'll find out what's going on with your pipe tobacco..

I also agree that PG irritation (even if it is an allergy) is a mild form of allergies. Not all allergies are life-threatening. A prime example is hay fever (an allergic reaction to pollen). No one goes into anaphalactic shock from an allergy to ragweed - it's not pleasant, but certainly not deadly in the least. :)

Yeah, I am glad he is going to help me out. He's a pretty legit dude. Only bad thing is he is into some really fruity flavors, so I am going to have to suffer through some of his nasty juices

Oh, and thanks for being intelligent about PG.
