scrapmom-The longer you go without a cigarette the more you start noticing how bad they taste when you do smoke.
Start by using the e-cig for the first couple puffs, then move to the cigarette-for the after meal cigarette. Your taste buds will over rule the cigarette and begin to prefer the pv.
Good luck and keep at it.
Using the stronger juice for the stronger craving is a great tip!

Welcome scrapmom,
Keep thinking positive and it will happen. Like mentioned, maybe use some stronger nic for after your meals and then do some decent vaping for a few minutes. Then Smile. :)
Lots of encouragement and support here, so visit often or bring your sleeping bag and just "hang out". Like Dorothy told Grandma - "There's no place like home". :vapor:

Best wishes for you.

A big howdy to you scrapmom. I quit analogs approx. three weeks ago so I am a newbie as well. I have not picked up an analog since my first puff off my e cig. I have an eGo that I love. What has worked for me is telling myself I can have an analog if I really want one but only after I vape for a while after meals. I keep one cart loaded with tobacco flavored 24 mg juice. After I've hit the e-cig for a while my craving diminishes to a point that I can forego the analog. The fact that you are attempting to quit analogs deserves a pat on your back. Everyone is different so find out what works for you by experimenting.
Good luck and happy vaping. You'll get so much support and great advice on this forum.

Welcome! I am also new, been vaping for 3 weeks and just recently decided to start posting. I am glad I found this site though before I purchased. It really helped me to decide what I wanted to get (an eGo for home and a Joye 510 for when I am out with friends). It was also great to find all of the discount codes in the supplier forums, though it also makes it easy to spend $$$ right out of the gate!

The first few days were a little difficult with the switch but after that I never looked back. It took a little bit of trial and error to zero in on the right nicotine level for me (I ended up at 18-24mg depending...) and what kinds of carts, mods, pg/vg, etc I liked. I am still experimenting a lot, but I think I have found the setups I like, as well as the flavors. Now I feel like I can kind of coast, tweaking things over time without spending so much money.

All I know is I feel great, I can breath again and have a world of new flavors to explore that frankly taste way better than an analog any day!
