Hi and welcome.
here's what helped me -
1. The only cigarettes I have around for battery emergencies etc are not ones I like (certainly not my old faves)
2. I have enough batteries and charging cables to charge 2 batteries and my PCC overnight while leaving an assembled PV set up overnight. When I first got my ecig stuff I had to decide when I had had my last drag of the night and THEN disassemble the PV and screw/plug stuff in before bed. And when I got up I would forget I had to go unscrew and assemble stuff to get my first vape. I found that all stressful and disruptive. Now I just leave one set up so bedtime and wakeup run as smooth as it did with smoking. Note - some people prefer a different flavor or stronger nic ejuice in the morning. I just vape as much as I need in the morning.
3. In the beginning I did carry those cigs I don't like that much and my lighter in my other pocket (not the pocket they used to me in) just as a security blanket and in case I had an equipment failure. After a week or two of doing that and not needing them, I moved them to the trunk of my car and I guess they are still in there.
3. Re eating - after I eat I am fine with a PV though sometimes I need 2-3 good vapes after I eat, or more. For the first 2 months of
vaping that had to be a tobacco ejuice with good aroma and good TH (in fact I needed that for almost all of my
vaping). Now 2 months later, after mixing vanilla and caramels and chocolate with tobacco juices in-cart, I actually am slipping into vaping amlost always vanilla alone (BWB Vanilla Bean)
