Hi everyone I'm Ultrahard. I just moved to Phoenix and just started vaping. I was smoking analogs for 30 years a pack and a half. I'm down to 4 cigs a day. I have had so many problems with equipment and it frustrates me. When it works I love it and I just vape.. I've had a faulty battery in my kit when I ordered it. Returned it then my AC charger stopped working. Oh I forgot I use the Joye 510. I just ordered the megaq battery and cartomizers. The cartomizers are great I love em, but my battery wouldn't work so I just sent that back. I'm so sick of shipping back and forth. I'm excited to see local distributors here. E cig supply is right down the street from me so I'll be checking them out Monday. I'm looking to upgrade soon but I want to research first. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm looking for a lot of vapor and flavor with the least amount of fooling around with the equip

Thanks for being here this great.:D

I feel your frustration, however... you have come in to the era of vaping at the right time. Lemme tell ya... 2 years ago it really sucked. Ha. The biggest frustration for me was the little cigarette looking batteries. Took me a while to let go of them, and when I did the game changed quite a bit.

A 510 atty can be made into a great atty with the addition of a battery mod. There are lots of different prices from a $25 box mod up to well over $200. Add a variable voltage to that mod unit and you'd find a sweet spot for the ohms your atomizer runs and the flavor of the liquids you vape. You're dealing with batteries and chargers still, however... they'll last longer usually than a standard e-cig battery and give you a bit more voltage. You can cary around the rechargable batteries as spares in a small box with you or use a larger case mod that has a longer miliamp hour battery (such as an 18650) for pretty much all day use.

You'll be able to see lots of models and talk to the users at our VIP social group. I think you said you couldn't come to tomorrow's social, but perhaps you can meet up with some of us that get together every couple of weeks in the afternoon on weekends or an evening and we can help and talk with you a bit. Come chat at our facebook group (thread with links in the VIP forum in the Stickies) and watch the forum for posts on usually last minute Westside get togethers. Very informal and fun. Probably will be at Riff Raff again at Dysart Road and Waddell (Thunderbird Road is renamed Waddell once it gets past Grand Ave. going West).

By the way... Ecigsupply is in the middle of moving their offices to I-17 freeway and Deer Valley Road so don't know if there will be someone at the current office. You might want to call first before you go on Monday to find out if they're operational. They're opening a store at 51st Ave and Bell soon also.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I would love to meet up. It's kind of hard for me to get away, as I take care of my 90 year old mother in law, but if I know enough a head of time it is doable. THis week my car is inthe shop . So if ecig moves what will be the closest supplier to me. I live at Peoria and 31st. I'm still not familiar with the area Don't get to go too far from home. I was so excited to hear they were on 44th and Peoria and now I'm bummed they're moving.

You're not kidding Hellen, no eGo's back then, just the batteries that I was lucky to get an hour out of. Granted, I moved on faster otherwise it was back to cigs for me, the 510's just weren't doing it for me at all. But this is a great time to be a vape enthusiast for certain, tons of mods big and small to cover any possible desire you may want. Also, definitely make it to the socials, I was out of town this weekend and couldn't make it down but next month I'm looking hopeful to attend.

As far as my biased opinion (I don't call myself Six-Volt Samurai for nothin) 6v with a dual coil cartomizer provides every ounce of flavor and vapor I want as well as a very short draw, much more simulating with the way I smoked. Which most mods that take an 18650 battery such as the one linked here AW 3.7v 18650 that can last for more than a day per charge can house 2 of the smaller RCR123A batts (pictured here) for 6 volt operation. Also I apologize if you're already aware of them. I try to cover all the bases and if my explanation is too basic, feel free to troll me for it. :p

It's a far and away much better experience for me than 3.7v, save my one caveat, my journeyman with a low resistance atomizer I use exclusively that way. Low resistance atomizers are also a great way to simulate higher voltage, however you need a battery that can handle it, basically the 510 standard cig style batteries will not work. Granted, Chad will probably tell you all this too so I should probably shut up.

Anyways.. yeah, welcome to the Phoenix cult of vaping!... did I say cult? I meant coven.. err group... thing... yeah. :toast:

I'm glad both of you had a good time and felt welcome! We all were really pleased to meet you all and hope you'll consider attending every month for sure. :)

Our socials are a great place to learn some tips and tricks and see the latest and greatest stuff (which probably isn't so good for the billfold though! LOL) and also make some new good friends (the best part of VIP!).
