hello everyone...i havent smoked a cigarette in almost four weeks! i started vaping about then and im in love. just for a fyi for everyone, i stopped at a pilot and tried the mistic brand. i really think they are excellent. good taste, batteries last all day, cartos last all day. cheap as well. i have been studying alot about ecigs and decided tonight to try an ego 650 kit. if its at least alil bit better than the mistic, ill be in heaven.
well everybody, did i make a good choice in getting an ego? any tips about this model or preferences with setting up an ego? i figured i would tell you guys about the mistic as well since it would be a really good starter or backup. thanks for any help guys and gals

Egos are a great device for someone in between starter ecigs and full mods. i like to refer to them as "training wheels" lol. before i started getting into mods, i had the extended ego as my main unit and some crappy starter ecigs as backup, so it sounds like you're on the right path!

There's days worth of forum reading and terminology studying involved with each leap forward in device "seriousness", but being well-educated will save you a lot of money and frustration. A lot of people do little to no research and then make a ginormous post full of questions and I personally find that annoying, so kudos. :)

welcome to ECF !! The E-go is a great place to start after you get done with those e-cigs from gas stations (crap) Once you get the ego you will agree with me, haha ! the E-go has a sealed batt. so you can drip, right on your atty (nice) I still use E-go's they are a great little device, last all day !! (nice)...Right now I am using the big boy E-go..( the K-go) with a carto tank on top (nice)....Feel free to pick our brains and have some fun with it !!!and again welcome !!............and always....VAPE-ON !

i do have a good question..i cant really get a grasp on how the tank setup works, but im thinkin i may understand it a bit better when i get familiar with the ego. im tellin you those mistics are great for the money. i had gotten one of the smoker friendly kits that was like 50 bucks. same as the mistic only no batt life, mild taste, and both quit working in a day or two. im really excited about the ego mostly because of the ability to really customize with preferences. im hobby addict kind of guy, so i can see this escalating! thanks for the quick replies

Another enthusiastic endorsement for Egos here!

I've followed the same path as V4POR1Z3 but have mostly stuck with Egos (650-1100 mAh fat batts) and various attys and cartos (mostly I use Echo-E cartos). I have a Reo Grande which stays beside my computer, and the Ego batteries plus Echo-E cartos go outside the house with me.

Everyone is different. The fun of vaping is experimenting and evaluating all the hardware and e-liquids out there.
