I don't care to have a giant battery... I find the 808 sufficient and I believe that was what the Mistic resembled. I actually think you can add 808 carts to the battery, but you need to use an O ring.

Um...an O ring? I use volt batteries with KR808D-1 cartos all the time...no O ring. They are refillable too. I also use Kanger KR808 cartos and V2 cartos They all fit perfectly. I've even used Elite cartos on the Volt..no problem, but they look a bit funny because they are big. ANY KR808D-1 threaded cartomizer or tank will work with the Volt. No adapters or O rings or whatever needed at all. They screw on...that's it.

I was saying that the Mistic battery could work with 808 cartos, but need an oring.

 Understand that. I have heard that the volt kit is quality, and know a few people that use them and like them. If I were going to go with the smaller battery, that is where I would go.

Any specific package I should look at getting? I'm still REALLY REALLY new to this, and all the terminologly makes almost no sense to me :-( but ya, I do like the Blu, I am going to ATTEMPT to refill some cartos tonight, my liquid got delivered today!

I know it's silly, but for now, having the smaller more cig looking units is helping me stay away from traditional smokes (they seem to be referred to as analogs here). Maybe one day I will go bigger and better, but I don't think I am ready for that step yet!!!

I love the volt, and still use it every day at work. I'm a landscaper and spend ,y whole day outside and in a truck driving.

Get either the standard or the pro starter kit. Both come with 2 batteries. The difference is the pro kit comes with a portable charger that can charge the batteries outside of the house (similar to the blu one). The standard kit is $45 and the pro is $65, but there is a 15% off coupon to make it $38 and $55. You will get free priority shipping with the pro since its over $55.

Also, once you get your kit, if you post a pic of yourself on their subforum here, they will give you a free battery, bottle of juice or pack of cartos.

Check out my videos. I have several on all the kits and accessories. Here's my channel. http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC26Cs_xBdH-qswIi7qKE7BQ/videos

By the way, I don't work for SI and am not compensated for the videos either by pay or free products.

How long does the battery last for you? I clean pools, so I am outside a lot and drive in a truck also. haha

I'm a hard person to judge by because I am a chain vaper. I take 2-4 puffs a minute and go through at least 2ml of juice at work. On average, I get through my work day with 1 - 1 1/2 batteries a work day. At home, I use an X2, which is a larger batter (about the size of a sharpie) but I vape even more (3-4ml a night). The x2 works with all the cartos from the small battery

If a mistic is getting you through a day, you should have no trouble with the Volt. I would get a sampler pack smooth if you like tobacco, sweet if you like other flavors. You can buy juice from ANY juice vendor. (I like Kick Bass Vapor, but they're closed for a few days for chocolate stuff). I didn't like Smokeless Image's chocolate... it was a little "fake" for me, but I love their vanilla, watermelon, grape, and cappuccino. Taste is individual though, so try it anyway. LOL

I'm now in the same boat. Where I live, there are 2 truck stops (Pilot and Flying J) on my exit, a pilot 8 miles away and a loves 10 miles away. Mistic was extremely convenient, I stopped by the gas station and picked up a pack, just like in my analog days. However, I just learned that Pilot/Flying J/Loves will no longer carry Mistics and have gone to Blu and nJoy while Loves has gone to Nicotek Metro. Nicotek has mistic-compatible cartos, but the Loves is out of my way and I would hate to have to drive an extra 20 miles every time I need to restock. I like the Mistic battery life and the carts were tasty enough (alot better than the Nicotek) so I'd like to be able to keep using my existing hardware. Also, I've heard terrible things about Blu and nJoy. Are there any other gas station brands that are worth a darn? Do they fit the Mistic battery? I really don't want to have to go the mail-order route.
