Hello everyone, after two years of analogs and a year of frustration over 510s, Ego-Ts and Clearomizers, I have finally arrived at vaping exclusively. It's been a little over a week now with my silver bullet and DCT. I could not be happier to breathe better, smell, taste, and thanks to ECF, find a place where people seem to really enjoy talking about Ecigs. I think between the repetitive conversations I've had about them (mostly me talking, whoops) and the paper I wrote about them last semester, people were becoming a bit frustrated with me. After reading an overwhelming amount of useful information over the last couple of weeks I’m so happy to have found this site in a search for juice reviews. Thank you!

Thanks :] and this definitely is more simple and satisfying. Also more durable, which is one of the problems I've had. I was using the Ego batteries for the cartos but it just wasn't enough.

Sounds like me over a year ago. Started with the little battery 510, then upgraded quickly to the ego, then discovered the wonderful world of mods. SB is an excellent, well-built mod. It'll last anyone a lifetime if taken care of. Make sure you put some thread lubricant on the threads so you don't wear them out. Noalax, found in most hardware stores that sell electrical stuff, sell it or something equally as good. I've even heard that vaseline will work also but haven't used it. Just a tiny dab will do. Every week or 2, depending if you take it outside or have to replace batteries often, give the threads a good cleaning and reapply the lubricant. Unfortunately, the lubricant will attrack dirt. You don't want grit/grime in there but it's still better than the metals rubbing each other dry.

Congratulations and I must say that the SB shall always be a mainstay in my heart...I was using it for months at a time exclusively up until 6-7 months ago when I hoped on the provari train. I still rip my silver bullet with a low res cisco 306 though on the regular and am blowing huge vapor bombs with the thing. I'm pretty sure I could run it over with my truck back and forth at least 3-4 times and it would still work fine.

I have a brushed copper ordered. Will I need to lubricate the threads on it?

Thanks for the welcome and support everyone!

hairball-I will make sure to get some Noalax when I can.

azrockstar-Same thing here, I think it's inevitable. I've even thought about carrying extra drip tips because friends of friends and people at school want to try it.

holly123-If you have friends who are smokers they might become friends who are vapers.

I hope I'm replying to these right. I'm not quite sure what I'm doing yet.
