Hi skoot, and welcome aboard!

The main thing to do differently is do not inhale the vapor as you would smoke. Instead, pull in a mouthful first, then inhale it. This will taste more pleasurable and give you the nicotine you crave. Inhaling directly into the lungs can irritate the throat and keep you from getting your full nicotine absorption.

Like another poster said, take the vapor into the mouth, and then inhale from there.

Most new vapers try to inhale the same way they smoked at first, and PV/VG both have a tendency to dry out the back of the throat on contact, so you'll experience a phenomenon I like to call 'vaper's cough' at first. Keep water or another drink on standby until you've become slightly accustomed to it.

Vapor's a bit less 'thick' than smoke is, so you won't have exactly the same sensation in your mouth... but trust me, it works out really well!

Welcome Skoot !
You have reached a great forum of friendly, helpful people...and we welcome you.

I am vapping DIY 50/50 PG/VG, 18mg/ml nic, 15% huckleberry flavor ejuice.... And it's yummy stuff.
Found I don't care much for the 'bacco' flavors- they don't make an ejuice that tastes like a burning ciggy.
Prefer 'coffee' in the morning- then fruits or Butterscotch or something latter. IMHO

wishing ya all THE BEST !
