Hi everyone. This is my first post and thought I would just throw my major question right out there...

A few days ago I bought the ProSmoke starter kit. It preforms well and I'm happy with everything about it except for one thing. The throat hit is awefull. The only time it is good is when I open a new cartridge and even then, after a number of hits the throat burn just goes away.

How do I get that sharp razor burn and still keep my product?

Also, I'm still within the so called "get your money back" time frame so any advice about what would be best for what I want would be fine too.

Glad I found this place and I'm happy to be a member. A lot of good information here,

My advice: get your money back before the time frame runs out and stay away from those 2-piece cig-a-likes.

Get an eGo/510 kit. You can find bigger, better batteries for cheap and there are a ton of different attys and carto tank options and in the long run you'll save a ton of money and have a much better vaping experience.

Do a bit of reading here and you'll soon see the best, most popular types of parts mentioned a lot. Nobody can come up with a universal agreement on exactly what the best brand and specific parts because everyone's ideal parts and experience are different. But you'll find something a lot better than the cig-a-likes.

I got mine at VaporAlley but gotvapes has them as we'll as many other good vendors. I like it because there isn't a digital display - just a dial on the bottom. It's thinner than the the big dogs - like provari and evic but definitely fatter than an analog. And it's not overly expensive. It comes in different colors and and mAh (basically battery life) depending on how long you like to go between charges. As far as tanks go, I like the splitfire the best but it's kind of big - so I usually only use it at home. Vision clearomizers are pretty straight forward to start with. TH is also going to be affected by the eliquid you choose so you'll want to research all the options there too. This forum has a great wealth of knowledge in existing posts - you can literally spend all day reading and never read the same post twice lol. Others will have different suggestions - vaping is so filled personal preferences. No real wrong or right - it's about finding what fits for you :) Luckily the industry has exploded so much that there's something for everyone so don't give up in your quest.

Thank you so much... I'm going to check out the links and see what I can come up with. I really appreciate the help. It's a bit difficult going from a lightweight cig-a-like to the nicer units. A little more lingo to understand, but so far I think everyone agrees with the 510 so that's the direction I'm going in. Thanks for the info about "splitfire" too. Will certainly look into those as well.

I've already looked a LOT on the forum... basically for hours now. Can't thank you enough :)

Sounds like the first hit is probably slightly dry and giving you a hotter vape than when they get feeding. Might want to get a higher capacity battery setup with some lower resistance atomizer/cartomizers to give you that feeling all the time. It will kill the flavor of a lot of juices depending on the setup though, so keep that in mind as your taste buds start to change.
