Tried cig-a-likes of various kinds for a couple of months but now I got serious, bought an eGo/CE4 on eBay, and a DIY mixing kit from TW, and haven't smoked in two weeks. Waiting for an iTaste MVP from fasttech now.
DIY is great - anything that ups the geek level keeps my interest (I've a sciencey PhD and work in computing).
Battery life is killing me - I ought to charge the (1100mAh) eGo battery every night but I get caught out. Was thinking about pass-through, but the MVP looks ideal.
Next geeky temptation is a re-buildable clearomizer. Had been tempted by TotallyWicked's RB1 - where you can easily fit new coils - but the reviews are not great and tempted also by coils at the bottom. ProTank 2 my best bet?
I like my AGI..I can use it to drip or as a genesis-like RBA. It has the same design as the RB1, but it is a little heavier. When it's in one piece it feels more durable, but when you take it apart, I always think the glass tank will break and cut me. I still just stick to my cartomizers for the most part though.
Finally got my MVP - this thing is amazing. I really like the iClear 16s I got with it too - way better than the CE4s.
In the meantime I screwed the threading on my eBay eGo battery so I was getting desperate - smoked a few analogues on Friday night when all my cig-a-like batteries ran out
Still I had no problem refusing more and vaping on Saturday (and since).
