I'm new to e-cigs. I started out buying a "new nature cigarette" (maybe a KR808D-1) from a kiosk at the local mall. While it was OK I was still smoking analog cigs. The max was 16mg carts, just not enough for me. Then I found this site and did some research and about 3 weeks later I got a Tornado from Totally Wicked along with some tobacco and menthol 36mg.
So, now another 3 weeks later, I haven't had an analog in about a week.

My lungs are so much happier.

Welcome to ECF, kot1rc5! Glad you found what would work for you. If indeed what you originally purchased is a KR808D-1, you can buy higher nic cartridges from a lot of the vendors here on ECF. And, if you decide you don't want to do that, you might be able to sell or swap it in the classified area of the forum. Continued success!!

How long do the batteries last before they need to be recharged?
Also I think I read somewhere that batteries only last 2 to 3 months, is that right?

I dont know how long they last yet I just started using it a hour ago but considering the amount of nicotine that i'm getting i'm using it half as much as I did my 510 and I almost never put that down.

For anyone considering the eGo/Tornado don't hesitate. It produces lots of vapor and the battery lasts me about a little more than a day.
