Welcome aboard and don't worry about feeling baffled at this stage - it's pretty normal and I remember it well myself when I first joined.
Back in the Stone age, when I needed only one hand to clean my teeth and was still lucky enough to have dandruff, at Teacher Training College, they talked about the Learning Process.
It started off with Unconscious Incompetence - the Student didn't know what he/she didn't know, moved to Conscious Incompetence - the student became aware of what he/she didn't know and realised what had to be learned, progressed to Conscious Competence where the student had mastered the basics but had to keep thinking about them and finally got to Unconscious Competence where he/she could virtually operate on Auto Pilot.
You'll get there, you'll find what suits you and things'll seem much easier!
All the best and welcome again.
